secret to finding air LEAKS in an air mattress

If you’ve ever woken up on an air mattress and you’re halfway on the floor because there’s a leak in the air mattress you’ll be interested in this video. Are used to be a little easier to find these leaks on these Air mattresses, because this was before they started putting flocking on the surface of the vinyl. This vinyl makes it very difficult to find the leak. The secret to finding this leak is you need to take soapy water and spray it on very thick. Even when you spray it on really heavy, you will still only hear and see the leak for about 10 seconds. This flocking makes the leak stop hissing because it’s so furry. Once you find the leak do you want to have a little celebration, but you’ll also want to market with a permanent marker so you’ll be able to find it to put a patch on it. Most of these Air mattresses, come with a repair kit, sometimes I use Apoxsee glue instead of the glue it comes withHope you found the video useful

Dude I just got so lucky on one of those two and a half foot tall I moved my face around it and celt some wind on the first corner. I've searched for this whole plenty of times I really didn't want to get it wet so I just got super freaking lucky. I'm going to make sure that's the only hole

That’s funny, I only wish I was that lucky to find the hole While relaxing, this mattress that we had must’ve been leaking for about a year before I finally decided to hunt it down with soap and water.

The misses threw ours away due to her lack of patience trying to find leak. Can we have a video of the most likely areas to search. I'm thinking that each leak will require a different method at best and maybe an abort mission at worst. Eg. Hole in a crease? A leaky valve? This World needs to do something if we are to save it from 10,000 rubber air beds being binned every year! Thanks.

Yip... the other issue with this method is that that topper stuff means it takes foreverrrrrrr to dry out again. I only do this as a very last resort, which I may do for my mattress as I currently can't find the leak.... I suspect it's the pump which would suck.

One technique is to spray soapy water onto the mattress when it’s inflated, if that doesn’t work you can put the air mattress into a bathtub and find the bubbles that way. Lives of the two basic methods that have worked for me. Hope this answers your question.
