For those of you who don't know what the dantien is, it's basically the area that the umbilical chord tranfered oxygen into your blood when you were in the womb. It's the yang or positive energy source. The lungs is the yin or negative energy area. Chi kung separates and combines them to cultivate higher energy levels. The dantien is about two finger widths below the navel and around two finger widths inside. It's the second lung, so to speak. Along with a high diet, you will feel energy literally flowing inside of your body, if you play Chi Kung. It's feels like waves of power going up and down your limbs, torso, and head; it's quite the rush. In theory, the key to "super powers" is learning how to release this energy or chi outside of your body through the eight trigrams. It makes a human from a 1.7 volt battery into 12 volt battery and beyond. There are secrets to still discover, this used to be one. The eight trigrams has many secrets and the higher the energy you feel, the more enlightened you will become.

@@DaWeiGongfu kzbin.info/www/bejne/pXbIn6t_jNhlbqc I think this Chi Kung Grandmaster is the most scientifically proven with "super powers" out of any other. He has to be using the heat combination of the eight trigrams to do that. Just lime a battery can make heat by high amps connections. I believe if you hook a thinner wire up to the positive and negative terminals, then have a thicker metal bar attached to the wire, it will create heat.

Start now. Breathing stretching, cloud hands. Every day some postures. Even in a week"s time you will be changed by small but definite increments. I'm just a foolish perpetual beginner, but the simplest of movements start to teach you, as when I am in the kitchen waiting for water to boil. Why should I be absolutely passive? There's always so much, throughout the day to focus and work on. We constantly forget breathing, or see hold our breath! You start to experience the air as a fluid (which it is) and move as though through water - currents and potential currents everywhere.And it can be like play. oK.. . very serious play but, Yes. (Ha !: You"re probably way ahead of me; this is amoment of enthusiasm please forgive.

what year was this filmed? Also i have been researching how to generate electricity through our Chi and i see that in this video when they say "returning one's impact in "as soon as the fist touches you softly than you redirect, and turn the power away" this sounds like the beginning of the electricity from CHI.
@DaWeiGongfu5 жыл бұрын
I think it was filmed about 2013 or so. Master Yuan is still teaching there, and I have newer videos that I filmed on my channel from the last 2 years that I studied there. with the talk of redirecting power, some of it could be thought of as Chi, some is being aware physically, and responding to a punch with softness. So, you "dissolve" or softly yield, but in a circular way to redirect the power of a punch. That is a more martial aspect to the training. When it comes to the actual qigong, you are attempting to be aware of and eventually control Chi (Qi) flow in the body. From a western medical perspective, our nervous system functions through electrical stimuli and signals, so while it's not a perfect match with the Chinese theory of Qi, it does mean that we do have an aspect of electricity functioning in our bodies.

Great Clip! Looked at the ancient books for a while, the Qi word seems having been used recklessly by another Qi word in Chinese. I think It's not a big deal of a mistake because no one really know what the real Qi word(炁) means anyway which is another word other than the modern Qi Gong' Qi (气)word. So in Qi Gong, Medical, Gongfu, when they say, qi sinking into dantian, that is in the old days 炁 qi, not the 气 Qi, We know the latter is Air you inhale, but the 炁 is read "Qi" but surelly not air. Someone said this is the Qi which can generate electric magnetic force. Even it is. It's still hard to relate. But It's interesting in this clip as it said, that everything is about transformation. Then I suppose taking the air Qi and it transform into the 炁Qi. 炁 is word combined by upper 无(nothing) and lower火(fire). Again, another interesting clue - your heart beat is taken as the source of fire in Chinese gongfu, the ultmate Taosim is void(虚,nothing) . I think the 炁 Qi seems more correct now.
@DaWeiGongfu4 жыл бұрын
That is really interesting. I wasn't aware of that 炁 character instead of 气. The way the character is built does give it a deep meaning. Thanks for sharing your knowledge on it and how it relates to gongfu. It is very valuable.

Great stuff. Is there any scientific based in all these?
@DaWeiGongfu4 жыл бұрын
Kind of. The Ancient Daoists were actually trying to scientifically explain what was going on in the body with their limited tools and technology of the time 2,000 or more years ago. We’ve see some things translate to our times, like the use of acupuncture. Some things, like the definition and theory of Qi tent to become overly mystical when translated to Weatern people and thinking. It’s really trying to explain the idea of the breath, hence oxygen, feeding energy in the body through blood to give the muscles power and the organs nutrition. There are many fine details that we don’t tend to see proven in the west by scientific research. However, it’s kind of a misunderstanding by Western people that Qi is a magical force like in Star Wars or something. It’s actually more grounded in observation and a desire to explain healthy body function.

No amount of practicing Qigong is going to get you to heaven. Read part 2 what is the Gospel?
@rogerw45075 жыл бұрын
part 2 what is the Gospel? Here is a presentation of the Gospel which means good news if you are interested in being saved. The Book of Isaiah was written between 701 and 681 B.C. God was manifest in the flesh with the miraculous virgin birth of Jesus Christ Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. 1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Jesus made peace through the blood of his cross. The chastisement of our peace was upon him. Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Colossians 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. Jesus fulfilled this prophesy by His death on the cross, burial and resurrection There were many eyewitnesses to Jesus death on the cross and resurrection. 1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: 6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. 7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. Jesus is the source of resurrection and life: John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: Jesus is the Christ the Eternal Son of God John 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. Hebrews 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Salvation is the gift of God received by grace through faith, not by our works. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Salvation is competely relying on the redemptive work of Jesus Christ as the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Salvation is trusting in God’s promises, trusting in his dear Son John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Colossians 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: Salvation is in Christ alone John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Salvation is trusting that Christ obtained eternal redemption for you by his own blood Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, Salvation is received by trusting in Jesus as your Saviour and believing the gospel of Christ John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. The beautiful saving gospel of Christ Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 1 Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

I don't speak for Jesus, but I imagine if he entered a typical "Christian" church, he'd turn the collection plate over in anger, and then whip the minister. If Jesus said to both a minister and a Taoist: "The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness." I bet the Taoist would have ears to hear, and the minister wouldn't know wtf Jesus was talking about.
