il take pics of my progress along the way. using gloss black and 1k clear. will use universal metallic to get a little metallic in it. then maybe someone we all know could show it on his channel and c how his skills r teaching ppl lol. if its done right that is lol

Yea man. I use to get tons of pictures of what other people did and I was all down for showing them off on the channel but people stopped sending them in high volume. I get like maybe 2 people over few months. Either way I can always do a video explaining for people to send them in to be featured.

I seen while ago you had a turbo auto Honda, there’s not much info on it, I was just thinking of getting a chipped ECU but I heard a lot about the tcu giving problems while tuning and people having to manually shift gears. How was it tunning an auto, is it difficult and do you need anything else besides the ECU

I have used it. I prefer the 2X because it’s thicker paint and don’t flake as easy as dulplicolor but both work great. Just make sure prep work is done good and you will be good.

thanks for the reply. was gonna go black but last year i painted it rustoleum metallic(that was hard to mk it look right lol) so im hoping i can wet sand and recoat it and clear it.

hey bro. i subd ya back when ya did the crown vic orange. been enjoying ever since.... got a question im gonna do my buick with 2x black and was gonna clear it 2x gloss. would u recommend that clear or something else budget friendly. 2k is too expensive. plz reply my good man

2X clear is junk for large projects like a whole car and if 2K is too much (which it’s not cheap I’ll tell you that) then go without clear because the 2X is not good and some times when laying the 2X over the paint it will wrinkle up. Choice is yours but I don’t like the 2X clear for large projects. Maybe wheels or valve cover but not a whole car.

James, heard about painting vehicles with bedliner today when I went to a local body shop to see about painting a 1991 Acura Integra I just purchased. So I went on KZbin to learn more and found your video when you bedlined your infinity several years ago. Great instructional video. How is the bedliner holding up? The body shop quoted me a price of $2500 to bedline my Integra. Wondering if this is a fair price. After he does the bedliner he says he will overspray with a coat of the color I select. Is this a fair price for having this done?

There’s way less proper procedure behind laying bedliner, I’ve done dump trucks and 1/4 ton pickups, 2500 is on a very high end in my honest opinion, because there’s nothing to it besides prep

Do you still stand by your cutting springs video from 7 years ago? I wanna slam the ole Honda and it sounds pretty full proof to me

I literally did it 2 years ago to the project panda car on my other channel because he said “I just want it low, just cut the springs” so I did and it drove great. Now if you do it wrong it can be super unsafe but it’s a do at your own risk thing. I recommend MaXpeedingRods coilovers if you don’t wanna spend a lot and still lower your car. I even have a discount code for their coilovers on their website www.MaXpeedingRods.com discount code THC that stands for texas Honda channel. So to answer your question yes and also no. In a pinch just to lower it yes but to daily it cut springs I wouldn’t do it unless you have a strong faith in God and know He will protect you no matter what. Your choice on what you do to you car but do at your own risk!! I personally never had a issue but I have seen people do it wrong and it wasn’t good. I’m not liable for anything that may or may not happen if you do it.
