That's the point, the moment in itself was an abrupt moment in history, it was happening for a vv short amount of time. It would be insignificant without the lead-up to it. What makes the moment so iconic and great is the context in which it happened. It's a tough shot, but if Joe Harris makes it in a game against the Magic in February then no one cares. This series is about contextualizing these great moments, showing off what makes people remember them, not showing off the moment itself. Everyone's already seen this shot a million times.

But this was the “best” shot in the sense that it was the greatest clutch shooter of the generation making a shot that would have unquestionably cost them the championship if missed. Can we Bosh a lil more credit here. After that clutch rebound he sent a perfect pass right in the breadbasket of one the greatest shooters ever. Not just an epic shot, but a lot could’ve went wrong before Ray even got the ball.

One of those rare moments in sports where I honestly felt like my heart stopped beating to watch the shot for itself for a second there lol That was a fun four year run as a heat fan. It sucks being in purgatory now but as I’m also a dolphins fan who in my 31 years have never been to a super bowl and last made a conference championship when I was a few years old, I feel a lot more appreciative of that 2004-2015 stretch heh

I know that it's "on-brand," but we're stretching the analog VHS metaphor a little thin with a game from 2013, aren't we? :-P

CatchCanista well if allen misses this shot the championship is over, this is the GOAT shot
@4sername6 жыл бұрын
I admit that it was a great shot, but he was basically wide open. There have been harder clutch shots in the finals than that.

CatchCanista not with the stakes that high

LJ I respectfully disagree. He was just too open. Just so I have some reference for what you think a great shot is, what other clutch NBA Finals shots do you think were great?

I find myself watching these more often than listening to music when I am biking when I work out. A nice escape from reality and the commentating, editing, and overall polish of these videos make these videos amazing and addicting to watch. Oh, also we need more beef videos.
