Thank you! These are intraspecefic hybrids. They are both Truncatas but one is highland and one is lowland. What I love about these in particular is they tend to keep the heart shaped leaves for much longer. My other ones are getting the strapped shaped leaves already!!

Hello, is it worth it to get truncata x ventricosa or should I look for pure truncata? My conditions are 60% humidity, 12h artificial light (central Europe)

Yea u can. I grow on a windowsill and my truncata are the hardiest of them all

Yes! They are amazing that way! You don’t hear a lot about them being a beginner plant or an indoor windowsill plant which I think is a disservice to them!

Truncata x Ventricosa will give you the size of the truncata with the even easier growth of Ventricosa and speed of Ventricosa. The pitchers won’t get as big and the leaf structure will be different. If you are looking for something that will grow a lot faster and basal more than I would go with it. If you are wanting those enormous pitchers or the heart shaped leaves I would go with the pure truncata.
