Thank you. That was so easy to understand. It was fun and not so technical. I’ve been watercoloring for several years an have Never been satisfied with my Greens. You unlocked my Brain. Now if I go to my Art room and skip the housework maybe I can conquer Viridian. 🤷🏻♀️☮️

Such an amazingly beautiful array of greens here, and I am enamored with the paintings you shared. As you say when looking at colors, "That makes me want to paint!" Excellent tip about using the yellow to lightening the green as opposed to white when you want to retain the warmth and vibrancy.

I like how you setup you’re palette colors, so different from what most people do. Can you do a video on why you set it up that way, the advantages and so forth. Also what is that metal thing you have your colors in and why? I like your video quality...bright, clear and colorful. Nice studio btw.

I am trying to simplify my work. My favourite book is 'The story of life' by Catherine Barr. It's simple drawings inspired me to paint without focusing on details. Thank you for keeping posting your work. I love your colour pallet.

WoW that’s a video packed with great advise and tips ! I hate green out of a tube of out of a pen, I always added purple to tone it down. For sure I’ll try to mix my yellow with ivory black 😍 When I was painting a big cabinet on our market place here in my town, people had so many questions why I put purple to my greens
@sandihester3 жыл бұрын
Oh good - I’m thrilled you found it helpful!!! Adding red to your greens may help even more than purple. Let me know what you think of the black and yellow mix!

I mix most of my greens from yellow ocher and phtalo green (or black) saves me from using my expensive cadmium yellows.
