@@nathanj9350 Exactly, anyone who opposes the government is now a bad, bad conspiracy rightwing nut criminal. I would like him to do a case study of Joe Biden, who violated the constitution on several occasions, like with the vaccine mandates - The Supreme Court said they are illegal, yet he pushes them and pushes them, and said to ignore SCOTUS' ruling. I want to know, will he also pay for bad complications for people taking the poke, I want to know if Biden, who essentially just said to Big Tech and the media, who constantly mislabel people like Tim Pool as far right or Joe Rogan for taking what his doctor prescribed him - will pay in some regard, for manipulating journalism (which doesn't exist anymore anyway, everything is an opinion piece, not actual hard cold facts). So essentially Biden is telling to said entities to silence any opposing ideas other than his or the vaccines, calling them misinformation and disinformation. Sorry, if you can't question science, it's not science. He violated the constitution when he extended the eviction moratorium, going against the congress and the supreme court again. He calls domestic terrorists parents of children, who are concerned about the curriculum being taught in schools - I suppose that's also a conspiracy theory, even if I saw the books with my own eyes, pushing the antiwhite narrative. Disgusting. I also would like him to make cases about Andrew and Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon, as well as their two producers charged with doing despicable things against children. Joy Reid is the next candidate. Also BLM and Antifa, cause it's obvious to me the bigger threat are these too, not some Oath Keepers of which I am only learning now (I'm a not American).

Ironic though. Since Obama is much more of a man than pathetic Trump, who is always whining and acting like a baby. Obama is mature, thoughtful, a leader. Why is "critical thinking" in such short supply these days? Short attention spans and lazyness seem to be the hallmark of too many people! Truth and common sense have been sidelined! In the late seventies, early eighties there was a group called the oath keepers but they were nothing like you describe here. The oaths they were keeping were to their spouses and children, vowing fidelity to their spouse and love and education to their children. They also vowed to the constitution and the law of the land because if you’re locked in a prison you’re not much help to your spouse or children. My question is if this is the same organization then when did the change occur or did this guy just steal the name of a legitimate organization?

Very interesting video. Previously I mainly focused on your instructional videos. One note: as someone who has worked with firearms for more than half of his life professionally, many firearms are not "drop-safe". Which is to say, if there is a bullet in the chamber, and you drop it onto a hard surface, there is a chance that it'll have a negligent discharge. One reason I trust Glocks, they are much more drop-safe than others. In fact, it is of such importance that the Army stipulates it as part of its vetting program when looking for new replacement firearms.

Finally! I live in Texas and I need to hear this to help deprogram myself. Thank you Dr. Grande. There's a lot of militia types in Texas. It's unspoken culture of each individual who owns firearms around here that we ARE the SOUTH and there's a certain Texas pride and sense of southern life etc. Everyone who owns firearms etc is a militia member in that sense. Also those who want to use violence for political change like the oath keepers and gather in groups to train are also terrorist organizations in that sense as well. It goes down to the individual, then communities. Then on and on to the state. Kinda like Afghanistan and there is a southern pride around Texas to this day across all races. I've seen that 1776 mentality in large refinery corporations all around here and I'm sure other big money operations and companies... Like trucking and transportation. I do, however, miss your in-depth discussions of personality disorders, among other entries in the DSM. I've been a fan of yours for quite some time, and I've seen your style and content develop from a strict scholarly bent to a more entertainment mode. No judgment here, yet I miss the empathy from the old days. Sarcasm gets the views, but it stings, especially coming from a counselor. The Oath Keepers get no sympathy from me, yet I would love to hear what you think might be a possible treatment for clients such as this. Everybody thinks they're "defending the Constitution" but, like the Bible, it's completely open to interpretation. My question about January 6th, especially with these guys, is "what is your end game?" What if they had entered chambers and the congress folks hadn't left. Is this posturing? Would they have acted in reaction to armed force? Why were they in full battle gear (sans firearms)? Was this really just a bonfire pep rally gone bad? If you're capable of breaking doors and windows to gain entry, what would you do if you confronted congressmen? Or, as I suspect, these are just pissed off weekend paint ball warriors who've been whipped up by the internet? One of them has his oathkeeper name sewed to his vest - "Trapper". He's probably a dentist. I guess it's possible that they actually think they can affect change through intimidation, which is just laughable. The mightiest, wealthiest government in the world with the greatest military ever might serve to prevent this. Let them go to prison and become martyrs within their own little club.

Tremendous content! I was never this deep into the extremist beliefs regarding Conspiracy Theories but I sure became 'woke' back in I think 2012 or 2013. I annoyed my family at gatherings and believed some crazy stuff. I promoted conspiracy theorists internet radio shows and recieved their merch free of charge as a thank you as I did it every show for two years. Eventually, the deeper I got - Q wasn't a thing yet and I think Wilcock and Goode were coming but Gaia wasn't around or if it was it was in it's infancy. I watched David Icke's 8hr Show and every Alex Jones documentary - KZbin had a TREMENDOUS amount of content back in the day before ads and all the copyright bullspit - and eventually actually woke up and realized one thing: While you're all wrapped up in a reality where you basically begin to believe everything is against you - with the Trump Presidency even the News was against you - back in the day it was "controlled by a Cabal of 4 media Conglomerates that owned ALL the media the world put out. The Secret Space Program stuff was more James Casbolt and then Max Spiers happened. There was Miles Johnston and The Lady who broke off from him and became Project Camelot I believe. Anyways, I woke up and saw that everyone and everything who didn't share my beliefs had moved on without me and I had to kind of re introduce myself back into the real world and with my family and eventually I just decided that I was done allowing that type of life have any type of control over me at all anymore and I left it all behind. I missed a lot and I still don't understand a lot of today's terminology and new words and sayings I hear that I don't understand. I don't understand gender pronouns and can't use them properly. My life did suffer but I kept myself there. These people went beyond the pale. At the end of everything in the conspiracy world so many ways of thinking are twisted into fighting for freedom like our ancestors did and it's all a method of control to keep people in a dangerous mindset and mentality. Thesr Oathkeepers are in for a shock when they realize Trump never cared about them or anyone in the Conspiracy realm. He just didn't. But it's such a delusional mindset and mentality that it truly is insipid, insidious and dangerous. 99.9% of conspiracy theorists are peaceful but there's always that 0.01% subset of any genre that is capable of danger and these OathKeepers were representing that small percentage group. I mean, who believes that ANY President would ever authorize ANY QRF bringing masses of firearms and creating cashes of guns has to be a ton of laws broken. Plus the President has so many ACTUAL options to use and would use (Police, National Guardsmen, Actual military etc) so their way of thinking on so many levels was so fraught with mental illness it honestly makes me sad. These are legitimately mentally ill people who gobbled up rhetoric and went too far. We see this happen far too often these days. These people needed help and thought most likely that the help they needed were against them. It's so sad as I can see the situation from both sides and I normally can't until I break it down and do the research.

I think of conspiracy theories as having "dream logic" and can be interpreted like a collective dream of a group or society. Imagine someone dreams of being in a concentration camp with members of their family as guards. The person is not actually in a concentration but the dream is a statement about how they feel about their life, under the control of others. A rise in conspiracyism probably points to an increasingly dysfunctional society with more people feeling disempowered.
