You are in my old stomping grounds. You may not believe this, around late 1950’s and early 1960’s, Sedona consisted of approximately three buildings. Driving from Mesa to oak creek canyon we would stop there. As I remember, there was a post office, a tavern and a store. It has really changed, it’s still beautiful but way to many people crowded in to a an area with limited space.

Our first visit was in the early 80's when it was still fairly quiet. Would have loved to have visited in the 50's, 60's. Unfortunately, as you said, it is now way too crowded.

A real Batcave! An amusing fall or two, Evel Kneviel- like SUV show, gorgeous pottery and artifacts, amazing ruins, copper churns, urns, buckets and pails. Oh my! Is it common for places to relegate ebikes, inoffensive, energy efficient cycles, to treacherous jeep trails? Why cant mountain bike trails be shared? Love Jerome. Sedona, with its vortexes, not so much. They made my head buzz, and gave me headaches. I guess I’m not a good candidate for time travel, I couldn’t get near the jumping-off points without feeling dizzy.

Hey, I have just ordered a van(can't find them on the lots so have to order) and I'm going to do a camper build. I decided not to get the backup sensors because I will have a bike rack back there. I was wondering, have you seen anyone install wireless sensors on a bike rack to aid in backing up? I thought that might be a good way to go as well as having the camera in the back. Loved hearing about Jerome, that was an interesting link to Churchill, never knew that. Merry Christmas and enjoy whatever you two are up to. Did you buy yourself something in Sedona?
