Yea, my personality is too much for most people. My friends and family usually call when they want a problem solved quickly. I thought I found love once, but it was more a result of circumstances. I don't think I will be loved, and I am okay with that.

Ryan Duncan thats not true. It is certain that our personality isnt that common but that is the point ! What makes you a human version of limited edition. I thought most of entps would consider themselves fascinating,,, entps are unlikely to be replaced by others. I assume you’ll also be the kind.

Jessica Vivian oh i got it. Maybe that would be the reason why i treasure my bf so much when im in a relationship. (I never met someone who would try to fix me off or persuade me. )I guess thats because they were a few people who treated me as ME, my self. Well i think just a few persons enough for me. I cant afford more. Loved by my best ones and loving them, giving the best things, is my ideal dream life. I always imagine and depict my future life with my husband mr unknown..! ‘Love of my life’ imagination as a child still remains. haha

As a ENTP I get really irritated by secretive people. Secretive is not worth my time imo. I can talk to other people who happily will give me information about them and actually develop a relationship. What is actually extremally attractive is being avialable and insightful.

the way to an ENTPs heart is through their brain. To get there, simply: - win an argument. (I once went out with a guy that would sometimes prove me wrong, and it would make me see him as an intellectual challenge, I loved it) - make them laugh, and laugh with them - say interesting things (my favorite type of person is the person who always has something smart and interesting to say, no matter the subject) - challenge them (I’m very competitive, and I love to compete with a guy in mind games or charades, it’s sooo fun) - be there when they wanna talk (you know when u learn something totally random yet fascinating and you’re like “who can I tell it to?”. Be that person I can tell it to) - never judge them (this guy was so crazy he wouldn’t even find it weird when I said the craziest of things, and I loved the freedom it gave me, it’s rare to find that) - be impulsive with them (ENTPs might be like “hey I know it’s 4 am but do you wanna go out... like now” and if you’re up for being like this with them, then they’ll love you) - finally, don’t ask too much emotionally (we are very loyal, very supportive and we’ll always be there for you, but, to me at least, when a guy starts to ask me to show emotions and affection, I run away. We suck at emotional vulnerability, but just because we don’t usually say how we feel doesn’t mean we don’t feel it)

The hardest part is just being ourselves around others. Most other personalities find SOMETHING about us that they not only find annoying, but will try to actively stifle. Whether it's debating for fun, arguing passionately, throwing crazy ideas at you constantly, there is always something someone finds grating. So a lot of us grow up feeling like something is wrong with the world...why would we second guess ourselves, we're awesome. but seriously, it does leave us feeling pretty shit, and we hate holding back. If you can handle ALL of us, and NOT take it personally....we'll be your ally for life.

Show me that you have your own perspectives on the world around you, but don't crumble when I question the logic of them. I want the same in return. And for the love of God, NEVER let me "win" an argument. If you're right, show me. EDIT: I do love to be right, so being proven wrong is actually very important to me. While it may hurt me in the moment, I'd rather address it and adjust, than go through life continuing to be wrong.

Knowing nothing about the person, which is why it sucks when people hold back who they are. Don't create a mystery around yourself, it just annoys people. Hmm I disagree. My INFJ friend ( I love her) keeps an air of mystery to her and darn do I literally worship the girl. Sure giving away nothing is annoying but giving a little and then knowing when to stop is infuriating in all the right ways. I reread this and realize it sounds kind of sexual. It's not. Or maybe it is. I'm in a relationship so best not to think about it. I also agree with another comment here about people who dig around in my head. ENTP here- I laughed through this entire video. When I took the MBTI test, there was a question like "Do you find yourself losing your possessions often?" After reading this question, I panicked and began looking around my office. I visually located my wallet, my phone, sun glasses , and my shoes. With a huge sigh of relief, I returned to the MBTI test and answered 'No' to the question as to whether or not I frequently lose my things as I obviously just found all of my things. Pretty sure it was not an ENTP that designed the test questions Nice video.

Lemme share you some interesting fact about ENTP. ENTP's behavior is rather random but easy to distinguish, especially when it comes to relationships. Here's are good sign of ENTP who have interested on you : randomly bothers you, even tease with humorous wit, not intended to hurt you, but to create a conversations. Bad sign: When they say something like following as a reply;"Sure/ok" We never agree upon something that easy, we ENTP are the type that willing to end the conversation with "OUR/ENTP" opinion. If you heard ok that easily from them, it is likely to mean "not my problem/not interested" They will come forthwith something if they like you or something. Or extremely quiet.

You danced around something important in your first bit. Be available but not clingy/needy/demanding. ENTPs have an existing catalog of friends in an existing rotation of sorts. If you demand too much time right away, you won’t be able to compete for value with the existing social hierarchy. Ergo - you’ll get ghosted. I also disagree with the “withholding” approach as we are highly intuitive and too much focus on “mystery” will quickly start to feel like a mind-game or general dishonesty. I WILL know everything (meaningful) about you in a very short time. Keep an ENTPs interest by being good at conversation and an expert in something the ENTP has only marginal interest in. One of my besties is a very accomplished nurse. I never want to be a nurse, but I never get tired of her stories about weird conditions and crazy patients 😂. Also - you CANNOT be too serious. ENTPs will finds the humor in ERRYTHANG, so if you don’t want your shitty day turned into a punchline, do NOT call an ENTP. And if you’re too uptight to laugh at “serious” topics, you and your ENTP friend/crush - prolly not a good match🤷🏼‍♀️

a lot of other entps here have being mentioning that hiding who you are is a real put off in any relationship and i do agree with that, but at the same time, there’s a difference to just not revealing parts of yourself and hiding it. one of the best relationships i have ever been in was with someone who’d accidentally show parts of themselves that were almost contradictory to their other parts (e.g. going from a shy stable person to suddenly having an overexcited outburst of emotions that would be otherwise, completely unpredictable). it was less like they were playing a game with me and more like they were discovering themselves, and i was there to witness it. sometimes it would just be things they never thought to be important to mention, other times it was something they didn’t even realise and because of that, it was damn near impossible to predict it until it happened. hiding creates feelings of dishonesty and manipulation, but discovering things or just being a layered person creates feelings of wonder and interest.

@@imakro69 I'm an ENTP guy who's dating an ISFJ since 2 months, before that we've been living together as friends for more than a year, probably one of my biggest and hardest relationship challenge tbh. I've learnt a lot from her, we managed to get things balanced gradually, but sometimes if felt like hell to me. That was a very mixed experience, very interesting but also complicated. I love her yet she can annoy of irritate me way too quickly, but she's also a very veryy good listener and is always here whenever I wanna talk about news ideas, theories, my characters and their stories, she responds quickly and always seems interested, her devotion is what I appreciate the most in her. She sometimes overreact and is too emotionally involved to me, but she became more stable at my side and I learnt to be more patient and kind when she goes through hard feelings. She also brang stability and organisation where everything was just a huge mess at my place before she came. I often tire her with my impulsivity and sudden desire to go out to a new place randomly to hike or stull like that, without planning anything, walking and climbing a lot during one day only, yet it always happened well as if it was perfectly planned, at the end of the day she's exhausted (while I got overdrive energy) but also always surprised how the day was outstanding, and always tells me "how the hell do you do that all the time, and still this was one perfect vacation day, best memories" lol. Even if that's probably too much to handle for her sometimes, she doesn't complain and tries to follow me in my craziest ideas the best she can, that's adorable. I need to take distance and spend time with myself only from time to time, and I don't know how this will evolve, but I'm curious to foresee if this will workout, and where it will take us. I’m an open minded person and I think every other personality types can have their advantages to a relationship and there’s no ideal pattern. But as an ENTP what I hate the most is being micromanaged and intrusiveness. I hate it I hate it I hate it! I hate it when my romantic partner expects my whole world to be all about them. My individiuality can never touched, ever. In my defense ISFJs are absolutely a bad idea for ENTPs. They might be sweet people but we’re not meant to be together for obvious reasons.

I'm an ENTP. I'm under the impression that an Se user could satisfy my inferior Si better that an Si Dom. An INTJ for example. Me talking to an ISFJ just feels like mirroring each other (because Ne/Fe) or red-pilling, deconstructing their beliefs (when using Ti). Talking to an ISTJ seems like a banter about how things are meant to be done and how I don't care about it, especially then you can think of instances where the routine wouldn't work and why (Ne VS Si conflict basically). In both of these situations someone has to compromise their Ne or Si while in an ENTP-INTJ interaction there is no need for a compromise, since the same functions are not used. Personally interactions with SJs are bearable, with SPs satisfactory but with NJs amazing. These are my assumptions and I might be wrong though.

MrMarks101 Not sharing any valued functions with someone (INTJ) gets really old after a while if you’re trying to maintain a close relationship. Si doms appreciate the Ne assistance, it adds novelty and release from their otherwise rut-laden life. Ni doms want the rut. Their rut is the best and only rut. All of the Ni they do will be in service to that rut they selected. Ne will be like a fly buzzing around their head to be swatted away. As ENTPs age, we care less and less about Se and more about Si. Ni doms will be the opposite. I’m middle aged and having a conversation with an INTJ I know is a constant battle. It may be interesting, but he keeps trying to turn everything back towards his central idea. I’m trying to get him to see how his focus is too narrow and he hasn’t considered enough other possibilities. Sometimes he is just wrong and he can’t adjust. Neither of us feels satisfied. If I had to live with that, what would eventually happen is that I would stop trying. INFJ would be better for sure. However, my aunt is ENTP and my uncle is INFJ, married 50 years, and I see him devalue her Ne all the time as flighty and call her out constantly for her weak Si. My ISTJ husband on the other hand, because he values Ne, has actually gotten more balanced over the years. Tug of war over Ne-Si issues is basically nonexistent. I do get what you’re saying about the topics of conversation. Not really ones for discussing ideas. I have to go somewhere else for that, and that’s a big compromise for sure.

So... what I'm getting from this is to just be myself, which is what I do anyway, lol. (INTJ) Funny thing is, I got drawn to one (and visa-versa) before I even had an interest with MBTI. Been together for 6 years, so the shadow-types thing works I guess (even though it wasn't directly discusses here). I had a good friend before him that was similar personality to him as well. I like a good cheeky bastard I can exchange friendly sass with or have actual deeper conversations with and not feel the pressure of judgement I get with some other sorts that makes me shut down. One (silly) example of interactions... I'm often reminding him to eat and sometimes he'll tell me he's having his first meal late in the day just to get some amusement from my reaction, like questioning why he does this to himself and to eat sooner. I'm very different in that my bio-chemistry affects my mood when I'm hungry. He'll sometimes taunt me because apparently I'm "cute when grumpy" to which I reply with a glare, grrr, and nip on the cheek. "Ow, cannibal..." (Mind you this is not everyone, but is me and my sweetie.)

I am currently wrestling an INTJ into an inevitable relationship and it is just about the most fun I’ve ever had. We are just ourselves, talk endlessly, and couldn’t tell you what we talk about. Ridiculousness and seriousness from one minute to the next. Vicious teasing until we run out of energy and, sigh, just gush at each other sometimes to the point of tears. It’s disgusting in all honesty. I find her adorable when she’s on the attack, she finds me idiotic, and I have literally threatened cannibalism of the face. You are not the only ones who are privy to this particular flavour of the universe’s expression of itself. Life affirming.

Me as an ENTP with an ISFJ wife can tell you we work in tandem, we find support our areas of opportunity in the other's strengths, she takes advantage of my creativity and problem solving skills, and I rely on her when I need to stick to a plan or remain stable at an activity. whant maybe no one tells you is that is a long term development, we've been together for 13+ years and it has been the last 3 on which we've made a great breakthrough, specially after I gather the strength to open to her about my feelings (and specially at that time, the depression I was going through) so, this is my testimonial

I had an isfj friend who I adore. She's adorable and hardworking but didn't have the same polarizing attraction that the INFJ in my life had. Mainly because I do like to go back and forth but she genuinely was pretty neutral about everything, because well, ne is her last function in the stack. So, we had a class and she was so sweet so of course she was endeared to me. One of two sensor friends I had and truly cares about but even then I didn't keep touch with them after. The isfj because she literally doesn't have social media and sees family on weekends. So maybe it was also circumstance.

My advice for seducing an ENTP 1. Be earnestly flattering and say what you like about your ENTP 2. Ask your ENTP about their hobbies and listen to the answers, offer your own thoughts about them and ask questions 3. Tell your ENTP about your interests and ideas with complete honesty - Not just what you like, but why you like it 4. Offer some challenge to what your ENTP says. Don't just be agreeable all the time 5. Be direct and honest with your ENTP about what you want and how you are feeling if it is important, if you are coy, they will just be coy back to you The real hook: Tell your ENTP how important and helpful they are to you. This is the way you can truly manipulate them to stick to you like glue.

He for sure likes that we make time for each other. He need for sure someone telling them to take care of themselves... That's a good tip and all but I feel like if you're willing to show me that confidence and allow some of your adventurous side out, we could be great together. If I feel like you aren't willing to try some things that you do to interest me it feels a little like you're faking it. But you're right about the contacting others. I usually initiated all the times me and my friends would hang out or call but if I saw that eventually they didn't make any effort to do the same at least a handful of times, I start to question if I'm the one wasting my time and I just leave if I'm not shown anything that proves me wrong. Many old friends are now just old friends because I didn't feel that reciprocation, though I don't like being texted every day, I expect someone to actually seek my attention. ...I'm not an attention hog or anything, I swear! xD

@juuuus
@juuuus 4 жыл бұрын
Yes that I'm not so sure about. A friend of mine is an ESFP, I don't have to see her every month. What triggers me is that for her, logic doesn't seem to be important, she only accepts logic if it alignes with what her ego wants at the moment, so an emotional selection. She doesn't seem to care if she runs over other people as long as it's beneficial for her. And before I hurt her Fi by me showing her why it doesn't make sense, she protects it by looking down on me with her illogic. Also she rather believes what is commonly known or infront of her eyes, can't think for her own. Quick to judge. Then there are the talks about the repeating drama, I know that drama is the fuel to her life. It's a lot of gossip and a waste of time. I just see little growth. Why am I still friends with her? She does reach out to me regularely but I do appreciate that she is such a welcoming person and is interested in hearing about a variety of topics even if it's in a very shallow way. I can talk to her about easy, trendy topics, she is people loving and joins in on anything. I can learn to live in the moment and to be a little more reckless from her. Btw, I did grow up with an ISTJ father who had studied philosophy and raised me with a lot of Ti knowledge. Also I have an INTP sister, she cleans all my data, and an ISFP sister who tought me that Fi isn't selfishness.

Hello! INTP here in a long running romantic-like entanglement with an ENTP. It is highly recommended that you pursue a friendship or any kind of relationship with an ENTP. They will enjoy being openly honest with INTPs and not have to put on masks. The talks are never dull but also will test your reasoning stamina because they will reason that they're not debating, it's a discussion, but if you can veer them into discussing more about possibilities in concepts more than reasoning who's right, it will be enjoyable.

I can only speak for myself, but being an ENTP in a long-term relationship with an ISFJ, I can tell that it can work, but it's not anything close to ideal. Sparks do fly more often than not and, usually, for very dumb things, like chores, routine, schedules, staying in the comfort zone, to name a few. So yeah, it doesn't come without it's fair share of compromise and diluted wine from both sides, but it IS possible. Just not ideal.

“Talk” does NOT equal “text” or “messaging” to an ENTP. We get submersed in doing what we’re doing in the moment. Your text message is an interruption. We’ll look at if we even get a notification - usually turned off - and based on how emergent the message is, we’ll respond in kind. And no - we don’t want to have long drawn out texting/messaging “conversations.” Share our immediate space - get our undivided attention. But we will NEVER be that person just waiting for our boo to text. If that’s what you need in a relationship, find a different personality type. If he’s not talking your ear off in person, he’s just not that into you 😬

It's the weirdest pairing. I connected WAY too deeply with an INFJ. It almost connects too well. Ya'll INFJs have, if not more, about the same number of issues as we do. You just hide it better. Sure, your type is the pinnacle of intellect. You make amazing conversationalists too. But your type fear confrontations, and we ENTPs THRIVE on it. You gotta understand how damaging that is for a relationship. My advice is to communicate honestly, and TRY to meet each other half-way. The "INFJ ghosting" is legendary. And it's HARD for me to understand that someone would find so much about me irritating, but carry on pretending otherwise until they just decide to disappear without warning. I know this doesn't address your problem directly, but you NEED to tell us things. We're emotionally dense. Our empathy is off the charts, but our filter just isn't there, and we aren't exactly closely studying your subtle facial features to see how you handle our off-the-cuff 15 minute rants. If something about what we said or didn't say bothers you, communicate it. ENTPs take a little more effort in that area, but it IS our weaker area, and it takes many years to grow it out.

Even if I saw what you were doing with this stuff I would still want to be BFFs out of sheer admiration for the social gymnastics.
