Maybe you’re thinking “how does a family all fit in there?” or maybe you wonder what it is like to use one. Or watch to compare how you use your camper and give us any tips you have. This is a looooong video and we almost split it into two parts, but we enjoyed the content of this video so much, we didn’t want to split it. So, grab a cuppa or a glass of Italian red wine (!) and enjoy a trip to the Italian Dolomites with us! We loved this 3 day trip - see what you think.
We are Jordan, Jo, Holly, Izzy and Poppy, the calicamperfamily. Our current van is a 2022 Ford Nugget Plus. It is a 5 seater and sleeps all 5 of us too. We are British and live and work permanently in Northern Italy alongside Lago Maggiore.

Hi David, thanks! And yes, you heard it right…good campsites (ones that are worth staying in with good facilities etc) are generally in that price range in Italy, Austria and Switzerland. I love your van camping vids and all your family adventures. Just a little tiny request though, can you pls invest in a more stable handheld camera? Coz when you're moving around your camera (and it happens a lot in your videos) it gives me motion sickness. Other than that, your adventures are absolutely fabulous!

Hi Andrew. Have a look at our “We Crashed” video. In that episode we had the mattress topper made. It is basically an Amazons Best memory foam topper that we has professionally cut and sew to fit the profile of the bed. Works a treat!!!
