Sis Chitu I'm really sorry that you and Nigeria as a country have to experience this kind of barbaric behavior from some of our country men. You know I pray that one day sooner than later both Nigeria and South Africa will come to understanding and appreciation that we brothers and sisters and must love each other in order to conquer this beast that has since developed within some of our people due to misdeeds of just few. I really would like us to never stop preaching love and truth in order to change the rotten narrative that has plagued the minds of our people. We need to find love for each other and there is no two way about it - there is no option at all - we just need to find that love. If we belief that no person is born with hatred then I want to belief that by preaching love in our majority will definitely be detrimental to this monster of hatred within some of our fellow country men. You know even if the guy who recommended Nigerian food was Nigerian citizen it would not have made it any wrong to do so. I mean common sense tells me that any person would recommend what he/she likes to another person. It is wrong that people should expect any person to recommend anything connected with that country by a mere reason that you reside in that country. You know I've heard numerous South Africans in USA preferring/talking highly of South African food and guess what, it's never a sin or offensive to Americans. I really hope maturity will find people who wrote those comments cause the current trajectory is not right. Take care Sis. You will always be loved and do not allow timid minds to spoil your stay in this country. If you want to call South Africa you home then claim it. After all the country of your birth should not be the tag upon which to fear to disclose what is close to your heart. Enjoy your life in SA and enjoy it abundantly.

Some of this people are just psychos exposing themselves on social media. @Chichi I love you baby. Never ever forget that ❤️.

I'm a South African who like to read comments section I don't usually respond when I see my country under attack for no reason from our fellow African Brothers and sisters I even tried to check if there is any South African who responded only to find there's none instead you will find that is another Nigerian who will defend us from another Nigerian attacker I'm sure if it was you on your video defending South Africa to your fellow County man who was saying South Africa was built by colonizers and someone came and said Nigeria is built by Lebanese and Chinese if it was your video in Cape Town you can check it and correct me if I'm wrong and there is a number of them where there is video about a best what whatever in Africa and SA came top you will see the attack, so this beef between Nigerians and South Africans is big I even heard President Ramaphosa talking about it to President Buhari "unhealthy competition between Nigeria and South Africa " in a recent visit to Nigeria this thing is not the internet thing but it's a real thing happening in a highest level even in business.

They are people that will never ever experience the world, because the don't understand it, the diversities that exist. They will never have to experience it through other people's eyes, they I bet will never even consider traveling and understanding different languages and regions, because diversity to them is one that only exist in their backyards and in the things they know and are comfortable with.

Chitu, your Parklands video fell victim to the disinformation that Nigerians do better than South Africans in SA. So people took it that that's the impression you were trying to create. If u follow anti-SA conversations online especially from Nigeria, you'll see that's the general belief so it's only natural that South Africans would think you were pushing the same narrative with that video and hence blast u. You seemed emotional at some point in this current video about the Uber driver - sorry bout that hey, you're very cool person! But the reaction from South Africans stems from the same argument I made above - that Nigerians would take every little opportunity to try outshine SA. I don't think it's isolated troublemakers making these comments - it's a genuine belief in SA.

Nevermind Chichi, some people are self-loathing and we cannot help it. If you look down upon an African person as an African it reflec the value that individual attach to themselves. Let's correct something though the Malay cuisine is equally South African. We are a very cosmopolitan country. When in the Western Cape the cuisine becomes different. I spent 3 years at UWC for the most part the diet was more Malay, the sweet /sour, fish, curried stews, that rice with lentils, meat. Gatzby and stuff. When I visit Cape Town I always look forward to that cuisine. It is the same when visiting Durban, you looking forward to the Durban curry and so forth. So the food recommended to Cooper was or is South African. It reflects the multiculturalism of South Africa.

That's why some employers check your social media handle to see what kind of person you are when you are not being watched, your integrity in other words. Some people think they are not seen behind fake social media names. This person that was recommending Nigerian food when asked for SAn food was intentional in his response, he obviously understood well that the tourist was vlogging and SAns as usual we click on videos that have our country flag out of curiosity. He just wanted to instigate sadly my dearies' eyes are still closed on these things they will act foolish and say foolish things. Sometimes I asked myself whose children are these, the things they say of other people are astonishing. I will hit a child of mine should I see them writing awful things about others. That's how I was taught in my home that we are all human beings rich or poor, colonized or not. We have no control over our histories but we have control over our futures.

Don't worry yourself, those guys are crazy about slandering fellow Africans, African Tigress went through the same experience recently. I heard her ranting over the behaviors of many of them who are irrational in their thinking. sorry my sister, those guys thought Nigeria and other African countries are in a hell, but few of them who travel abroad knows that there are a lot of good places to live in Africa where there is freedom.

My friend, I can post a nasty comment here intentionally for no reason just to make u react and generate chaos n hatred amongst yo followers. A lot of ppl who don't know my intentions will be at each other's throat. 1 or 2 will sense something isn't right but the rest will go for it without thinking. This is what is happening in this country. Anything that has potential to burst, that HAND will use. Don't worry Sis. We ain't despicable blind ppl all of us. Every African dish is a DELICACY. that has sustained our forefathers to have a powerful immune system we don't have today. Sharp🇿🇦

I’m sorry Chitu but from the positive videos about South Africa I’ve watched, I’ve always seen Nigerians bashing South Africans in the replies but I agree, it is wrong for South Africans to always react and get offended. Both Nigerians and South Africans are on edge.

As a South African, I'm soooo embarrassed by my fellow sisters and brothers who are xenophobic towards other Africans.... I don't even know what to say the way I'm so hurt and embarrassed. To think that you're doing nothing but to advertise and talk good of our country and how they thank you..I'm embarrassed
