The Seed to Plate video series is a project that we did during the lockdown to not only keep ourselves busy and to have a good time but also to keep our minds occupied on something creative. It definitely achieved that goal for us but after filming we moved onto to other things and did not get back to finishing the edit, until now. I am excited to finally release it. I hope you enjoy the show as much as we did in making it.
Each episode follows one crop in the garden from seeding, to growing, to harvest, and then to plate. In the end, I cook a meal with that vegetable at the barn with my family. Along the way, we have a blast farming, gardening, and working on projects around the farm.
If you have the ability to watch on a large screen, we recommend it. It is all shot in 4k.

Stunned by the planting space. It’s as flat as a parking lot! I’m guessing you have videos on actual soil prep techniques “low til” but at some point - you have to disturb the soil. He didn’t need to use a shovel! Remarkable.

Great video, thank you! I love how you cook your food, you have many wonderful recipes! And thanks for the tip how to turn a bed from one crop to the next crop... I also love how you construct each episode focusing on one crop from seed to table, very helpful for me to learn. Thank you!

We grill many vegetables like summer squash, okra, grape tomatoes, potatoes, flat green beans, peppers( the curly frying peppers grill whole, better than bell peppers), eggplant, carrots, radicchio, lettuce, bok choy, peaches( carefully so they don’t burn), and more.

Connor I love this series! I relate to your comment how you plan your garden with what and how you will be cooking your harvest. The quality of the videos are fantastic. I particularly love how you take us on the journey from planting the seeds to cooking the vegetables. Your new series has become my new favorite to watch on KZbin! Now you need a TV show! Thanks for sharing your experience and also thanks for the tools and products you produce and sell. The wire hoe is a game changer, I have purchased many and will be purchasing more.

I love this simple living lifestyle, not that its easy work because its not, but the rewards of being outside in the elements and hands in the soil is so healing to the soul. I too am a city girl, gone rogue for the country life in upstate NY. In researching small farming practices, its more clear that I can do this on a micro scale and reap the bounty mother earth blesses us with. I'm a follower for sure Conner! By the way, were you a professional chef in the city? Meals look wonderfully creative and delicious. I especially like the expressions on your face when you sample a dish after cooking. Hahahaha that's the best!

I have one question and I know it's not connected with this video but I need help. I'm not sure how to use pig manure in no till garden and I have it a lot. Most of people is using plant based compost or chicken manure. Any kind of video or answer is welcomed. Thank you. Great series by the way, we are loving it.
