Awww, you never need to apologize. This is your channel and you don’t owe anyone anything 🫶

I really love your channel. I refer to it often for recipes or ideas. But just now hearing you praise Jesus. Bring tears. We need so much more of that in our world right now. Thank you for being so outward about Jesus. It’s the little things such as that catch me off guard and make me so much more thankful for Him. ❤

Ya know that cookie cutter you used for the biscuits, maybe you could you that for cutting out the eggs for the bagel sandwiches? Then your kids wouldn't be put off by the square eggs. Just a thought. Lovely recipes, thanks for sharing!!

I never think to freezer meals so I will give it a go. We do lots of baked oats in the cooler months, they’re so satisfying, yours look very yummy. I also usually only cook three times a week. People are always telling me they don’t have time to cook or cook from scratch and honestly, I think many of them spend more time ordering and waiting on delivery or sitting in a drive thru.

Oh what a beautiful video! I love the voice over! It’s a little late in my life, but it doesn’t stop me from wishing to be more like you! You are doing a great job at Mommy, Wife and a teacher to all of us! Thank you for spending time to lead us through a homesteader’s life and the love you show your friends and church. Glad you’re feeling better! Hugs from Ohio!

Your meals always look so gourmet! The beef stew with biscuits looked so rich! TFS and being so generous to your friends! The canned meal will give them an idea of what to expect and how to put a meal Together when canning.

all the recipes come from My Mom and our dairy farm unless stated otherwise In the summer we would have family and friends come over for a Bar-be-cue which included Barbecue meat from animals we raised and butchered ourselves. The old fashion Ice Cream cranks (at least 2) with old towel for one of the kids to set on and several people to turn the crank. After my Mom died I took her Brown recipe box and any other special recipes and saved them to my Recipe files. I also took her favorite recipes from all her Farm Journal cookbooks and put in my file. Along with a Family Recipe book I made years ago for each of my brothers(3) and sisters (2) and mine and made it for each of my brothers & sisters and their children and my Mom for Christmas presents. I am so glad I did because both my parents are dead and my oldest sister and 2 of my brothers. Now my nieces and nephews and my 3 teen grandchildren will have those recipes. Recipe for: Butter Pecan Ice Cream From the Kitchen of: Esther Alderson Ingredients: 1/2 cup sugar 1 envelope Knox gelatin 1 Tbsp. cornstarch 4 cups milk 3 beaten eggs Ingredients: 1 Tbsp. vanilla 1/3 cup butter (cut up) 2 cups whipping cream 1 cup packed brown sugar 3/4 cup chopped toasted pecans Recipe instructions: Combine sugars, gelatin and cornstarch in large pan. Stir in half of milk. Cook till mixture thickens. Stir one cup of mixture into eggs yolks. Return to pan, cook 2 minutes. Stir in butter and whipped whipping cream and pecans. Cool and freeze. Chocolate Ice Cream makes 1 gallon From the Kitchen of: Esther Alderson Ingredients: 2 cups sugar 1/4 cup flour 1/2 tsp. salt 4 squares (1 oz. each) chocolate, cut up Ingredients: 4 cups milk 4 eggs, beaten 2 cups (1 pint) heavy cream 2 cups Half & Half 2 Tbsp. Add a small amount of hot mixture to eggs and mix well. Return to hot mixture. Cook and stir 1 minute. Remove form heat and chill. Add heavy cream, half & half and vanilla to custard. Turn into 1 gallon freezer can. Freeze as directed with your freezer. Four-Three Ice Cream Makes 1 gallon From the Kitchen of: Esther Alderson Ingredients: 3 cups heavy cream 3 cups milk 3 cups sugar 3 cups pureed ripe strawberries Juice of 1/2 of a lemon 1/2 tsp. salt Recipe instructions: Combine heavy cream, milk, sugar, and salt. Turn into a 1 gallon freezer can and churn-freeze 10 minutes. Mix lemon juice with pureed strawberries. Fresh Strawberry Ice Cream Makes: 1 gallon From the Kitchen of: Esther Alderson Prepare Vanilla Ice Cream without adding vanilla. Freeze until mixture starts to thicken. Open freezer and stir in 1 1/2 cups fresh crushed lightly sweetened strawberries. Continue freezing until hard. Fresh Peach Ice Cream: Prepare Vanilla Ice Cream using 1 Tbsp. vanilla and 2 tsp. almond extract. Freeze until mixture starts to thicken. Open freezer and stir in 1 1/2 cups fresh crushed lightly sweetened peaches. Continue freezing till hard. Fresh Strawberry Ice Cream - woodland paper (1990's) From the Kitchen of: Esther Alderson Ingredients: 4 cups Half & Half 4 cups pureed fresh strawberries (or frozen strawberries, thawed) 1 cup sugar 1 tbsp. vanilla extract Ingredients: 2 eggs 1 cup sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 3 cups whipping cream Recipe instructions: Combine pureed fresh strawberries, half & half, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla; cover and refrigerate. Praying health & wholeness over your family, sister. It sure seems like whenever there is a change in the "spiritual" atmosphere....sickness is crouching around the corner trying to keep us from feeling well enough to pray into what is happening. Which is why, I believe, God places people in our path who will commit to praying for & over us. Beautiful garden... still displaying for us the splendor of their majestic Creator ☺️❤️🌼🌸

my favorite summer recipe it is so easy if everything is in the freezer: THREE FRUIT SHERBET Ingredients: 1/2 cup whipping cream 1 ripe banana, cut in pieces 1/2 can (6 oz.) frozen orange juice concentrate, slightly thawed Ingredients: 1 (13 1/2 oz.) bag/can frozen pineapple chunks, broken in pieces Recipe instructions: Put all ingredients into blender container; blend just till combined. Spoon into freezer tray/container. Freeze till firm.

I really want to try all of these except the beef one (just not my taste). I hope you're feeling better. Your garden is lovely. Thank you for all you do.

Wonderful recipes to put in my rotation. Thank you! You didn’t look anything but fully concentrated on your work and happy to do so. I’m so glad your house illnesses are on the upswing. I love to wait to the end of your video to see your quote! Just like one of the priests in my parish that has a dad joke at the end of the Mass after he gives the blessing for the week. It keeps a lot of people staying after not only communion but til the blessing too. May you be as blessed, Kelsey, as you bless others in your life. ❤

Everything always looks really yummy, especially those pancakes and the chicken lasagna. At first I thought you looked upset but the more I watched the more I thought you looked bone tired. I have issues from a accident that happened to me, breaking both knees, wrist and my spine. Some days it's hard to stand and prepare dinner without taking a break. You looked like that, like if I could just go sit down and be done. I hope this is the last round of illness for you and your family for a long time. It's hard to avoid all the colds with young children.
