These look similar to Samoas. I make stuff like this minced lamb with onion, mint, carrotts or spicy ones with minced chicken, chillies and lemon. Beef ,black pepper potato. I experiment with ingredients and cheat using tomato sauce and bbq sauce. I made a cheeseburger style version using minced beef onion, pickalilli and tomato sauce (anything that goes in a burger goes in the mix ) 🇬🇧

I think the crust will be very dry. Empanadas are easy to make and more healthy as they are baked and not fried in oil.

Me encantó la receta, muy buena idea de hacer la masa para las empanaditas con pan de molde, así NO hay qué estar amasando al hacerlo con harina y lo otro qué NO sé pierde nada del pan ya qué las orillas se trituran y sirve para hacer el baño y termino de la preparación ya qué las empanaditas se pasan por las migas y de ahí a la sartén. Es una receta fácil, se ve qué ha de quedar sabroso, rápido de preparar. Lo voy a preparar para el fin de semana, cómo aperitivo.
