She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is an American television miniseries created by Jessica Gao for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics character She-Hulk. It is the eighth television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) produced by Marvel Studios, sharing continuity with the films of the franchise. It follows Jennifer Walters, a lawyer specializing in cases involving superhumans, who also becomes the green superhero She-Hulk. Gao serves as head writer with Kat Coiro leading the directing team.
Tatiana Maslany stars as Jennifer Walters / She-Hulk, alongside Jameela Jamil, Ginger Gonzaga, Mark Ruffalo, Josh Segarra, Jon Bass, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Tim Roth, Benedict Wong, and Charlie Cox. She-Hulk was announced in August 2019, with Gao hired in November. Coiro joined to direct multiple episodes in September 2020, and Maslany was cast. By December, Roth and Ruffalo had joined the cast and Anu Valia was also set to direct. Filming began in mid-April 2021 in Los Angeles and Atlanta, Georgia, and lasted until mid-August. The subtitle for the series was added by May 2022.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premiered on August 18, 2022 and will run for 9 episodes until October 13. It is the last television series of Phase Four in the MCU. The series received generally positive reviews, with particular praise for Maslany's performance and the lighthearted tone, though the CGI effects received some criticism.

People are really turning a deaf ear on what Jen said in the first episode. She never said she had it harder than bruce, she said she gets it hard enough to know how to control herself, literally the next scene is her acknowledging all of bruce’s negative experiences he had to face as a hulk but Bruce projected his experiences on Jen and she was trying to tell him they’re different people so he could trust her to be in control of her hulkself. People just want to push the “everything is woke” narrative.

And her point is even more limited than that, Bruce says she needs to control her anger specifically and her point is that society has much less tolerance for anger from her than from Bruce. Which yeah he only learns to control his anger as an adult and probably billions of dollars in property damage. That doesn't mean that Bruce isn't going to have different skills or be better at different things than her. The episode even does its best to demonstrate and still people are upset. But the "oh no a competent hero! it's an agenda!!" has been dragged out enough for enough arbitrary characters at this point I'm not really surprised. Bruce was always able to win every single fight ever what with his years of experience being a scientist and the nigh invulnerability that comes from the same power source Jen has. Yet when it was him the only complaints were he wasn't op enough not that it was an "agenda".

I would love to see Matt Murdock approach her to join his firm. Telling her we don't by choice represent villains. We mainly help the less privileged which can pay little or nothing against the corrupt government, corporations, or super-hero/villains which may have done them harm. We do from time to time represent super-heroes. Your pay will not be what it is here.

@See Jane Go TV, 1:10 JV, what's your idea of a "better World War Hulk?" If it's a story that includes Dumb Hulk, well, you can kiss that hope goodbye. Bruce put himself back together in Endgame; hence, he's not a broken man anymore. Dumb Hulk was the manifestation of Bruce's childhood trauma, he's finally over that. Now that Bruce is himself with Dumb Hulks power, he's no longer a threat to Earth...which is why World War Hulk can't happen. The MCU isn't the comics anyway--never was--so if they borrow parts of it or a character, I can see that happening, but anyone hoping for huge battles and the like, you should temper those expectations since the MCU doesn't do the comic, but it's own interpretation of events and that has to fit in the story they already telling. Look at the past founding members of the Avengers. What do they all have in common, aside from being dead or retired? A complete story arc. I'd argue that Bruce has gotten his (his whole again) or he's on the verge of getting his if there is a more fine bookend to his story on the way. 1:43 That anger is misplaced, and it shows how little they understood Bruce. Bruce had a hard time with the Hulk because he wasn't a whole person. His dad was a horrible father--Bruce's childhood was pretty similar to Marc Spectors! The Hulk is the manifestation of Bruce's trauma! Bruce didn't deal with his childhood trauma until Thanos. Bruce likely how the power to save so much pain and suffering during in game, but because he was at odds with himself, he couldn't. He failed himself and so many others he cared about. That event, his loses, really made him come to terms with his troubled past and to work through his issues and the result was Smart Hulk. Jennifer's transformation was easier for because she didn't have Bruce's childhood. She doesn't hear another voice in her head because she isn't broken. I don't get the issue with her being able to control her rage either. If you were a tiny women standing 5'2" tall, you'd learn real quick to pick your fights carefully too! Sadly, women have it hard in this world; it's a man's world--James Brown wrote a song about. Things are changing, of course, but we all know things aren't equal. All those people angry about Jen sharing her experiences need to talk to the women in their own lives or open their own eyes. How are they going to get mad at her when they're watching her show! She's telling her story, lol. IMHO, Jen and the MCU shouldn't pay angry online commenters any mind. They've been made since Sam shared his experience and they popped back up during Kamala's story too. They live in this world with blinders and hate that people are finally making them see someone else's experience, the very thing they've been ignoring all their lives. Might they be feeling uncomfortable because they're remembering a time when they saw injustice and did nothing about it? It's not easy admitting when you're wrong...especially if you've been wrong for a long time. You might want to double down and attack people calling you out for your BS. Anyway, I'm happy the MCU is using it's platform to show us the various experiences people go through. We know what we know and we don't know what we don't. There's nothing wrong with learning something new or about the person next to you. 10:02 JV, he's not wrong. Do you remember what Dr. Abraham Erskine told Steve the night before the test? He told Steve that the serum makes a person more of what they are while giving them superhuman strength, and THAT is exactly why Dr. Erskine refused to give the serum to an elite soldier! Did you listen to Emil explain his resume? He was an over-achieving highly skilled military officer. Emil was the commando that always finished the mission and he was always throwing himself into impossible situations. What do you think would happen to a person like that given a mission and serum? Emil only needed one dose of serum to go over the top and that's exactly what happened. To make matters worse, his commanding officer was an emotionally compromised man determined to bring Bruce Banner down. Thaddeus Ross was trying to put out a fire with gasoline! We don't have to believe if Emil feels remorseful or not--I think he does actually--what he's saying is accurate and true. The US military is responsible for what happened. The serum prevented Emil's better judgement from coming into the picture. 10:38 Jane, the following people are likely among those seven soulmates Emil is talking about: Ava Starr (Ghost), Antonia Dreykov (Taskmaster), John Walker (US Agent), Yelena Belova (Black Widow) and Helmut Zemo (Baron Zemo). William Hurt was looking unwell during the Black Widow movie shoot and that movie introduced us to Contessa Valentina Allegra de La Fontaine--a coincidence or did William Hurt clue the MCU into his health issues? The MCU has shown that it doesn't want to recast actors. Thunderbolt Ross is likely out of the picture ='( and in his place is probably going to be Val. Red Hulk by be a Red She Hulk and not the one from the comics, just sayin'. The other members of the team could be characters later to be introduced or hold overs from Netflix or loaners from the Spider-Man movies. 12:11 Nick Fury paged Carol Danvers who was on the other side of the universe in Endgame! Carol Danvers participated in a video conference with the remaining Avengers in Endgame in real-time and no lag while in a different galaxy! The MCU set this capability up four years ago, man. Rocket was able to locate the Infinity Stones right down to the solar system with technology in the Avengers compound! Why are you having issues with Hulk using his phone in space?! Why are you not flipping out about his computer continuing his research on an alien ship? LOL.

Don't count on a direct adaptation of WWHulk guys. I love that story like everyone else, but remember the movies are inspired by the comics, not beholden to them. I just cringe when I think of the fandom drooling over getting stories from the comics and then being disappointed when they are not frame-for-frame recreations of the story. Enjoy the comics and MCU as separate things.

@@thedefinitionisthis It's not like Bruce wanting to be the Hulk. If anything, Bruce hated it and he did everything he could to control his anger, so he wouldn't turn and hurt anybody and to find a cure for it. Plus, there's no reason for Bruce to be contained now. He already found a way to balance himself and the Hulk as one. Abomination on the other hand wanted to be a monster and could control himself better than Bruce and hurt/kill people on purpose. Abomination's defense is full of holes at best.

@@dwnkaomwn3953 look I see your point is that Emil was Abomination even when transformed and had complete control which clearly depicts that Emil killed and caused a rampage in Harlem. But I don't care if Bruce can control Hulk or not or he hates Hulk or not. The big boys could've stopped and contained him. A Man in control causing havoc is far less dangerous than a beast losing control and not caring what's in his path. Hulk should've been in check. By who? Idk but for the sake of the topic, you can't only blame Abomination and give him the entire blame of the two causing Havoc. Hulk killed and destroyed wayy more but gets ignored because he's a hero and Emil is a Villain.
@dwnkaomwn3953
@dwnkaomwn3953 Жыл бұрын
@@naqihassan4318 Emil is seen as a villain, because of what he did in Harlem and what's worse, he was willing to go on a rampage for his own amusement. If Bruce hadn't aimed the Hulk(despite his lack of control) at Abomination and stopped him, more lives would have been lost, so why wouldn't he be seen as a villain for that? Bruce/Hulk never wanted to hurt or kill anyone. Thaddus Ross made him into a monster for his own gain and turned him into a fugitive to cover up his mistake. Ross is one who should've been stopped and contained like Emil, not Bruce.

Jen said she's better at _controlling_ her anger, not that she's had it harder or been through worse than Bruce. That's not even feminist, they just have different circumstances. But like Jane said, people are determined to find something to be angry about, especially when a woman or girl is the lead. They wanted to dismiss the show as "woke" before the first episode even aired. I maintain that we don't have to listen or give attention to these fragile men and "pick me" women. Let them whine in obscurity.
