What a shock !! Judith Durham ist gone ... forever, but her legacy is with us forever. She died on my 78th birthday. What a coincidence. Judith's life and music has been at my side all life long. I will miss her personality and her fantastic voice. God bless her and take her in his arms in heaven. I am so sad ......

I had ticket for this but was unable to go due to illness . I will now never see them live . I am now 50 & grew up with the seekers being a record my parents had . I have always been enthralled & moved by their sound & now own most of their CDs . Watching these clips just shows that this beautiful music was made by beautiful people . I doubt we will ever see their like again. Such humility & good grace is such a rare commodity amongst the so called stars of today . God bless & thank you x

I was force-fed the SEEKERS thank God. I was a young engineer on the mv Port Lyttelton on an 11month voyage from NZ to south America and the Caribbean about 1969. On board was an Aussie freezer engineer who played the Seekers every time he was drunk, which was often. Have loved the Seekers ever since

I am an American that grew up in the deep south. But as a teenage in the 60s I discovered The Seekers and fell in love with their style of music and especially the beauty and voice of Judith. My love and admiration for them and their music and music ability has not changed. I hope they continue to sing as long as they can.

Each time and year I visit this site, I realize how beautiful and more appreciated Judith and The Seekers are. Their music brings back memories of a time so long ago when life was simple. Judith is still so beautiful and her voice immortal. Last year I finally had my dream come true and met my idol; Judith and The Seekers. I wish them all well. They have made this world so much more wonderful with their beautiful and timeless music. I love them. God bless Judith and The Seekers and keep them healthy and safe. THE CARNIVAL IS NEVER OVER.

You’re right! I too am an oldie , and recall the moment in England when I saw The Seekers for the very first time - it must have been the mo’ when they leapt into the news of their success! in the mid 1960s on my Mum’s black and white rented TV ( aye those were the days, and they weren’t easy eh mate, I bet you’ll agree…) …and remember how much I liked them at first hearing…But then at a changing point in my career and about to work in another country, I lost track of their progress…but I digress, but before I switch off, it was only two days ago listening to Bruce of the Seekers in his clip on the composition of his great song « I am Australian » and hearing his words about his Father and how he had come to Australia, alone, as a boy of only fourteen…That, thought I, demands a great deal of respect…a great load of empathy and feeling, and deep respect. too. And saying that, I think I can say I know what I am talking about, where human suffering, depth of feeling, and loss of friends and family…ye very gods, those who can extend their hand to others as if to say, I am with you, pray don’t feel alone…we are together in our understanding…as others were with us, God bless ‘em, who have gone before us… Long live Australia! The Seekers are truly the greatest!

Such class and selflessness Judith Durham displays here by lingering to the very last and smiling to her fans one more time before ducking into the confines of her limo for a well deserved rest. Everyone is cognizant of the fact this is probably the last tour of this type The Seekers will be doing and probably the last tour of any type really. Everyone savors the moments all the more accordingly. So wonderful and touching to see this genuine sharing of mutual warmth preserved on tape.

I would have cried if I had been there. I remember their songs early on and I liked them. I am in the US and they toured mostly in the UK so I guess they weren’t promoted as much here. I lost my Mother in 2015 and had a hard time of grief. There was a song I loved but I never could find it. I thought I knew who recorded it but they didn’t. I googled a line of the lyrics and lo and behold it was a Seekers song! On the Other Side. And that’s when Judith and the boys became my favorite group of a lifetime. I ordered as many cds as I could and their music helped me when my heart was broken from losing Mama, Judith rose to my favorite female singer beating out Barbra Streisand! My only regret is that I did not fall in love with the Seekers in the 60’s. The Carnival is Over is my favorite of their song. God bless you, Seekers! 🙏🏻

+flychomperfly I guess we'll agree to disagree. I'm male in my 50's and I'm sorry to say that the only two artists I've heard of in your reply are Adele, and Will-I-am.( I would not listen to them for love nor money) ...but that's just my opinion and personal preference. Maybe you are a lot younger than I , and that being the fact? Maybe that's why I've not heard of many the said artists whom you've mentioned. Personal preference, age, where one lives...radio playlists, type of radio stations....the list goes on. Living here in Ireland, we would not have heard of many many singers, groups on other continents, but that can be said for many other issues. I think something that we can agree on is , that whatever music you have a likeness to, it can bring on many many emotions. Thank You for taking time to pass on your opinion, I wish you health, peace and happiness for 2016 and beyond.

+Lloyd Jordan Probably so. I just question weather artists of today have longevity in them. There is so much more money in today's music as apposed to the 50's 60's 70's, because of this, I'm of the opinion that you can be in the business a lot less, yet earn a lot more, but decade on decade, that can be self explanatory. Wish you a happy new year.

I know I take license but she will always be that JUDY that started long ago! I've traveled and been way to busy in my life but in the late 90's I found the 1995 concert album/CD and the Seekers together again. I fell in love with Judy all over again. As I listened her voice and powerful presence had matured and her spirit was even more than before. Now her presence is fully nurtured into an eternal statement of a life lived standing strong on many fronts and millions of us are very pleased about that! Like my mother she is a sweet singer and pours it out for all of us to wonder.........

Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful recording. The stage door footage is particularly poignant at this very sad time. A beautiful memorial to an outstanding singer.

They were the greatest and the way Judith bounced back after all she had been through is fantastic. Grew up in the 1960s listening to them.

Fantastic-100,000 views already! Great to see that people out there still enjoy fabulous live music, performed at the highest level by one of the greatest pop/folk/gospel bands of all time. Stunning harmonies by all 4 of them and did I mention THAT voice? the sweet, crystal clear, powerful voice of Judith Durham - surely one of the all time greatest female singers, simply astonishing even at the age of 71, magical!

I saw this in York with my mother - her first outing since recovering from major surgery. By some fluke, we managed to get front row seats. Mum died earler this year, and now Judith Durham is gone, too. I am watching this, and the tears are flowing, as they were back in 2014. But I am anything but sad. Beautiful memories xxx
