@Dimes 4 Crimes Actually, in this game it would've been very useful, because there isn't a SINGLE scene where Cell explains he has Piccolo's regeneration, not one, 16 doesn't rip off his tail, Goku doesn't Instant Transmission Kamehameha the top half of his body, Gohan doesn't do his Idle Kamehameha (I think that's what it's called) and destroy pieces of his body, there isn't a single scene where Cell regenerates until after he blows himself up. So actually, Final Flash was needed.

Also there's couple of fights where it's so jarring having to win the fight during gameplay but then automatically lose in the story cutscenes. Like wtf? Using Frieza before the final form. Using Perfect Cell against Vegeta and Trunks.

I personally think they really put all their effort into the big boss fights at the end of each saga but I am still really sad there is no final flash. My biggest issue with the story mode is honestly the Cell Saga/Android Saga. The Buu Saga and Frieza sagas were amazingly done but I think they wanted a strict 30-40 hour story mode. So they cut out some of the parts out of the Cell Saga to keep the middle part not nearly as grindy as the after game and Buu Saga. The Cell Saga honestly I think is both where this game peaks and falters a bit at the same time. It peaks in how amazing and interesting it is, but falters where things obviously were cut out. I do love the rest of the Cell Saga though, Cell's Big Boss Fight is actually pretty challenging too.

It felt like they just gave up caring about the game about halfway through making the story... The game had so much potential, but it was squandered on mediocrity...

Shafting Final Flash was...a brave move...got some balls to remove such an iconic scene. Apparently, it was due to Budgeting issues. Certain cutscenes were actually CHOSEN to put into the game. Some scenes like the flashy cutscenes had the budget whilst others not so much. Kinda disappointing.

Leaving these tips here if someone is having trouble with the game. - L2 + Square/X if you get caught in a super attack or to not take damage from the red sparky stun attacks. Blocking doesn't stun you but will damage you, so it helps to not take any. - You gotta level up your Characters in the intermission parts. Super Armor won't be effective then and fights are gonna be much easier. It's an RPG game, so it has to have some 'grindy' aspects to it. - Hitting Triangle/Y at the end of a combo give you a burst of ki and blast opponents away.

i wouldn't me shocked if we find out later down the line that this game was rushed out to meet its release date, it's the only reason i can think of for a scene like final flash not to be given its justice. i think the reason so many people are in a uproar about it is because we see what they are capable of when they go all out in cut scenes like goku going ssj and fighting frieza, or the beam struggle with gohan and cell and goku killing kidd buu. we see what they can do. maybe they were approaching the launch date and instead of being able to delay it the higher ups said no it needs to be out at this day i mean as someone coming from WoW as the game i've played for 15 years, there were many of times after Activision took over blizzard that to meet a quota and to have a release of a game fit in a specific quarter the company wanted blizzard would have to either cut things that they were trying to do or tweak something half ass to just push something out unfinished just to get it out then work on fixing it after. where as before activision came into the picture blizzard was always the gaming company that would delay a game for what ever time period so that when it came out it was polished and ready for the players

@@Zero-ib6wb be honest do you believe people wouldn't be flippant if cell didn't appear to get damaged at all by the final flash, if they had all that buildup but they couldn't even follow through with the damage because of laws I actually feel people would be more angry than they are now because of the "heavy censoring that they need to get over" I feel they need to realize this is their jobs and though they love dragon ball they don't want to risk their jobs, families, and futures over a scene they felt was nostalgic as they get shut down by the Japanese government or at least get heavily punished through taxation or something because people wanted to see an attack that literally in the end did nothing to cell, they clearly wanted to do the scene that's why they give Vegeta the moment to shine at very end of the arc hoping people would take it or leave it but most people are just greedy as shit I love dragon ball and I honestly love this game it isnt worth judging because of final flash while yes it was a hype scene it did amount to nothing along with super Saiyan grade 3 I knew they wouldn't be adding it after checking the skill tree and not seeing grade 3 on there and to be fair it would have been hard to add it unless it was a fight you were supposed to lose because the concept is it makes you too slow to win just give them a break and at least try to understand their situation

This is so disappointing vegeta's final flash scene is what made me love dragon ball and I can't believe they took that out and buff trunks. This is a good game but it could have been so much more had they fixed mistakes such as this.

Grade 2 trunks I cannot explain but final flash was removed for the same reason as instant transmission which is because it's labeled as gore which is dishonorable in Japan and also illegal which is the same reason they cannot remove piccolos hand/arm every time it happens
