Set was the hebrew god. There's coins spelling YHWH on the shield of a donkey headed set. The jews made fun of the Egyptians for being animal worshipers. So the Egyptians made their god the silliest animal of them all. Set and YHWH are both the same canonically storm god and yes, they all worship him now. Horus lost big there I'd say XD

As it happens, I also don't believe that Yahweh is the real entity behind the current expressions of Abrahamic religion. I think they worship a false version of Yahweh Also I should probably point out that my initial comment is meant to be a funny riff on the Warhammer 40K fans in this comment section

I heard that fun fact from esoterica channel recently and found it way fascinating so had to share with a fan of history and paganism. So you don't think Set can be what the Egyptians called their neighbors God? And what god do you think they are worshipping now if not Yahweh? But y'know they themselves would like to believe they are worshipping the same Abraham god, so they'd just say they do worship YHWH and it'd be a nuh uh, yeah huh, deal.

Horus the Elder and Horus the Younger are often talked about as different forms of each other so perhaps Horus the Younger fighting Set is how Horus the Elder fought Set in order to emphasize the importance of inheritance over brute force when deciding who should be king.
