I like your stop design better than Jerry's. And your calibration step seems to make more sense too. I'm trying to figure out how to make a stop that will accomodate longer segment dimensions and it's wracking my brain.

Another turner has a stop similar to yours and he says the same as you that if you set the gap between your Teflon stop say 1.250 you segment will be 1.250 That can only work if your wedgie sled is set at90 deg. I,ve tried it at 22.5 and the segment long point to long point won’t be that length because your advancing it on an angle.Am I wrong ! Thanks Ed could you please reply,
