Seen parts 1 - 3 now Ed, once again thank you for taking the time time out to video, post and share. I've subscribed and given the thumbs up to your videos. I look forward to any more you do in the future, I'm more than aware of the time involved - just to let you know it really is appreciated. The knowledge you imparted will not go to waste from me, I'm already planning segment bowl number 1. Regards and best wishes. Tony.

Great job! I was hoping to see you finish it and turn one for us, but I know there are only so many hours in a day. Thank you for making the videos. Awesome!

Incredible. Planning to try myself. Will not have the sleds, and so will not attempt a strict pattern. The feature itself is wonderful

Well thought out project! I can see ways to try other points to vary the project that I would have never thought of if I hadn't watched your video! Thanks for the insight!

Beautiful work. I’d really like to try this. Typically I center my rings by doing my glue-up on the lathe. Putting my ring on cole jaws on the tail stock with my piece on the headstock, then gluing them up and sliding the tailstock to press the rings together. Is there any reason this wouldn’t work for making sure it’s perfectly centered?

Ed, I don't know if you remember me but my name is Dale Gillaspy. I am the past president of the Phoenix club and demo'd for the Yavapai club at one time. Just now getting into segmenting and your videos are awesome!

I guess you could do the same with a one piece solid board and cut it into a circle. Save the step where you have to cut an insert?
