Seiko 5 Sports 1969 Reissue - just a new dial & bezel insert!

So after reading all the press releases and marketing materials, the so-called reissue of the 1969 Seiko 5 Sports is merely new dial and bezel colours.
It's a stock 5KX, so why not just call it a 5KX?
Hard pass for me even if the dial colour on the SBSA217 looks good.
Tell me what you think of this one.

I do like this watch but to justify the premium price a sapphire crystal and a better bracelet be needed. Good review!

Thanks for dropping by. I think Seiko normally goes above $500 for sapphire for the mechanical sports watches. But that’s how Seiko price their watches - a bit of premium here and there for special dials and printings.

What are the dimensions and how much is it

It’s exactly the same as the 5KX. 42.5mm case, 13.6mm thick, 22mm lugs. It goes for around $410 here in Singapore.
