Just used this to recobstruct one of these with the phrole dial and black bezel. Very cool bit of seiko history.

love my 7002 200m Transitional watch that I purchased in 1988. No that leather strap is garbage for a dive watch ..get an oem rubber strap.
@ragetobe11 ай бұрын
A nato strap would be more appropriate for a dive watch and the first nato straps were in fact leather and designed by the British military for their divers. The rubber straps are never used, you need a strap that cannot fall off, as a diving instructor having had too many diving watches to count, my first move is removing the rubber strap and it getting a decent SS bracelet or a nato strap, normally nylon. For those that don’t dive and wear the watch as a fashion watch I can understand why you wouldn’t be aware of this info.

What if we don't have the tool to put the bezel back ? Is it possible just to push with hands and put enough pressure until I hear the "click" ? 😀
@ThePursuitofHappiness19883 жыл бұрын
Yes. That’s how I seat mine. I set it level, on a solid surface, then place one hand over the other and apply pressure evenly.

Any idea where to find a replacement ball bearing? Or know what size it is?
@garybrown4671 Жыл бұрын
Medium point bic pen has the proper ball.
@dustycups4 ай бұрын
Best not to use a bic ball bearing - they’re made of tungsten and will wear down the bezel teeth. Get a proper 1mm stainless steel bearing, they are very cheap online.

I have the same as I am working on now. I need Ball bearing and spring. And bezell chapter. Help me.
@whatsthebigfndeal5 ай бұрын
You can use the ball from a medium bic pen. You can use a spring from a watch band bracelet/strap spring bar. Just take it out and cut it to the proper length. Put a dab of grease on the ball when you place it over the hole and it will help it stay in place while you pop the bezel back on. Leave the insert off until the bezel is in place so it'll be easier to line it up.
