Seiko SBDC063 vs SKX007 specs don't always tell the truth

My wrist is only 6 3/4 but I can wear the 063 absolutely fine, no problem at all. I use it on a Miltat bracelet, just great.

Absolutely. I know some guys with a 6.5 inch wrist that can pull it off. It is a great wearing watch.

I have the SBDC061 (black bezel insert and SS bracelet), and I absolutely love the watch. But I was under the impression that it had a sapphire crystal, feels and sounds like it too.

Believe it or not on the wrist the Sumo wears wider for me than the 063. Pretty crazy huh? Sweet watch

I have always thought the 007 wears a bit odd. I think it's the short lug to lug combined with the relative thickness of the case. I have an SBDC061 arriving tomorrow and I cant wait !!

"Too big" vs "wears better" are two different things. Yes it might wear better because of the reason you pointed out. But it will still look big because the over all case is bigger and the lug span is wider. Oh, measuring the case back does not have anything to do with why it looks big on the wrist!

You are right they are two different things. The SBDC063 does not look bigger than the SKX in person. If anything the case looks the same width just longer lugs. Measuring the caseback has to do with the how much rel-estate it takes up on the wrist. Thanks for the feedback.

Also it is a flat Sapphire from the factory. Everywhere i have checked online lists it as Sapphire

The hands of the 063 are so so ugly, I can't help it...just looks cheap and wrong. The Sumo hands are way way better.

The Sumo is an ugly watch with nice hands. The case shape and bezel are nasty. I would take the 'baby MM' every day of the week over the Sumo.
