No lume pip because it's a divers style watch not a divers watch..Big difference..Good review 👍

Yes, I have learned this now. Especially in light of the new seiko sports lineup (that lack the lume pip as well)

I know this video is like 4 years old but 55 fathoms is a hundred meters. 100.5, specifically. So it works as a nickname on several levels.

50 fathoms was the first commercial diver. Von Buren of squale fame was making the first divers as early as 1948. When the market for divers grew, Blancpain, Rolex and others ordered their watch cases from Von Buren who went into case manufacturing under the squale moniker. Squale means shark by the way.
