An absolutely brilliant character, brilliantly played. So funny to watch - and Jerry was constantly trying to not laugh.... there must be tons of bloopers from these scenes, but I've never seen one.

Oh, I just rewatched The Talented Mr Ripley and I came here because I remembered his performance as Bookman. He was in Ripley with the last actor (playing the lawyer here - James Rebhorn). Must be fun for actors to cross paths on projects over the years. This role was iconic! RIP. 🙏💫

The thing about this show is a lot of the side characters are legit good actors lol Like this is freaking Philip Baker Hall playing Bookman.. great actor.

This was one of the most re-done skits on Seinfeld. They had to piece together 8 takes to get it right, cause Jerry, as you can tell couldn't keep from laughing
