Stress is a big trigger for me as well. Keeping up with my work when I was in college was challenging at times. I created a study schedule and plan for when I did my assignments. It helped me to keep on track with my studies as well as being able to keep up with my responsibilities outside of school. School is stressful, so try to find ways to reduce stress. Exercise, meditating, yoga, painting, and reading are some of my favorite things to do to relieve stress.

I would request one. You can have your doctor request a 72 hour ambulatory EEG. What they do is put the wires on your head and plug them into a device that looks like a box. You go home with it and it records everything. I had one years ago, and It was happy that I was able to be home while it was done. If that is not possible, I would ask to go to the EMU (epilepsy monitoring unit) to have it done.

I think I had my first micro-seizure while watching YT a few hours ago. I was watching the court-case of the girl who killed her mother just recently and toward the end there's a round emblem on the court wall which says "The Great Seal Of The State Of Mississippi. In God We Trust". I found it very hypnotic and the next thing I know it was like a light bulb went off in my head and my vision experienced a wobbly, whirly persistence of vision of just the bird's feet holding the olive branch. If I closed my eyes it was etched in a bright light in my mind and if I had my eyes open it was transparent very similar to the transparent camouflage of the alien in the movie Predator, and it really screwed up my trying to see without being distracted by this wobbly POV. It stayed with me for about 10 minutes.

Sadly epilepsy does not go away. Seizures can be controlled for a long time and then something can trigger them. I didn't have a seizure for years and then about two years ago, I started having simple partial seizures. It's been over a year since my last one, but I will have them the rest of my life. @@RajGangadhar-um9ep a simple partial seizure is also known as an aura. Some people get confused, scared, hear sounds that are not there, blurry vision, and there are a few other symptoms.
