More companies are starting to use Grade 5 Ti, Longines on their new Spirit collection, they released s couple in G5 Ti.. I believe Omega Planet Ocean, the titanium versions come in G5, Sinn uses it also in the T1, T2 and EZM 9 cases only, bracelets are G2 Ti..

Well, yes you’ve actually named the majority of watches made in G5. That’s only a handful when you think of the number of models generally in titanium. I’ve asked Longines to confirm that the spirit is grade 5 and will see what they say. Its a nice looking watch, by the way. Only one version of the Omega planet ocean is grade 5 as I understand it, and that is the mode with a grey titanium dial. The blue dial PO and the bond SMP are grade 2. The titanium ploprof with grey dial is grade 5 also, I believe. One version of the x33 may be grade 5, but no others. Blancpain is using Grade 23 titanium, which is a more refined variant of grade 5. But Blancpains are nearly $20k and they are hyping up the fact that they use a version of Grade 5. Tag Has a new limited edition in grade 5, which is awesome. Unfortunately it may be some time before other brands embrace grade 5; until consumers start to demand grade 5 and not Grade 2 or coated grade 2.

I believe that the wait for new builds is many months to over a year. This seems long but everyone who has gone through the wait seems to report that the finished products are well worth the long wait . However, the maker has invested into his facilities and will have a new workshop operating soon. This should improve the fulfillment times.
