Growing up in Kansas , I remember seeing Selena on tv and thinking she was the most beautiful lady I had ever seen, than just like that she was gone. She maybe gone but she will not be forgotten!

Sadly, today is the 25th anniversary of her departing. 1:05 pm, I was coming back from lunch and a coworker stopped me to give me the news. I ran to the nearest conference room to watch on tv. I think I've listened to her music every day since she passed away in 1995..wow it's been 25 years!! :( I waited over 24 years to find or find someone who could match or will be close to the same level..that singer is 16 year old Isabel Marie! She is going to be huge..one day! Like Selena I don't think Los gringos know who she is! But Isabel is sweet! And kind of like Selena but a bit more timid..look her up! Selena's father is helping this new tejano chica

Yes, Chris Perez is playing the guitar (he is behind her, to her right) and her brother plays the bass. Her sister normally plays the drums but was not there due to illness.

Her husband Chris is behind her playing the white guitar. It is pretty much his guitar sound you can hear. Nice, huh? One of my fav tunes from Selena y Los Dinos. Hope you get to React to more of their music. SELENA'S bday was April 16. She's now 49. Thanks so much. Enjoyed it.😊

Well the correct way to say the name of the song is Bidi Bidi Bum Bum, it sounds like you’re saying “Boom boom”, but it’s Bom Bom or [Bum Bum]. Also yes it’s her anniversary sadly, she was only 23 at the time.
