march 31st of this year marks 25 years since she died🥺there’s gonna be a big tribute concert for her on may 9th in san antonio and the san antonio spurs are doing a selena night next month for her

The crazy thing is she didn't have a ear piece so she can hear her self ..now a days every artist has one cuz the music so loud they can't hear themselves song ..then again this was in the early 90s

Great reaction! Please react to her Cumbia Medley! It’s a live medley of her 4 biggest Spanish hits and the video features clips from performances, and showcases her dancing and stage presence and multiple outfits that she designed herself. You get a really good idea of who she was as a performer!

Also, her band is her family! The bass player is her brother (Who now after her passing has his own very popular band, Los Kumbia Kings/All Starz), the drummer is her sister (She wasn’t able to play this particular concert though, due to a foot injury) and the guitar player is her husband! Her father was manager, and her mother helped Selena with her costumes and other stuff. She was only 23 when she was murdered. She broke the attendance record at the Houston Astrodome 3 times. This was her last big concert, couple weeks before she was taken from the world.

This concert/performance was by far her best!! All those years of performing made her SHINE that night!! She is unforgettable! I was just thinking about how Yolanda came to murder her and it's still unbelievable! How could she do that but She was living a brand new life being around Selena and having access to the money she loved it..and not having it was like dying! 😢😢

Do you know her husband Chris Perez has his own band? Maybe you can do Reactions on some of his music sometime. His first Album which he won a Grammy for five years after SELENA won hers was dedicated to his late wife. 'Resurrection' is a great Album. Now his latest Album 'Just Say Goodbye' is cool also. He released it on what would've been their Anniversary April 2nd. Thanks. Great Reaction. Btw, Selena y Los Dinos was basically a family band with her two siblings and her husband. Her father managed the band. 😊
