Selena performed at the Astrodome to a sold-out crowd on February 26, 1995. This was at The Houston Livestock and Rodeo we have at the end of February up until middle of March which attracts thousands and thousands of people every year. We now have it at the NRG Stadium. Selena performed at that time was the Houston Astrodome in 1995. She grew up singing Tejano Music also known as “Tex-Mex” music. Selena, a Tejano singer, also know as the "Queen of Tejano Music", contributed to music and fashion made her one of the most celebrated Mexican-American entertainers. Selena was born in Lake Jackson, Texas and was only 23 years old when she passed. Her murder took place in Corpus Christi, Texas. I’m only a year younger than her, from Houston, Tx and grew up listening to Tejano music. I remember that day so vividly and will never forget it. My brother in law was the first to call before the news. I remember my heart just sunk. Even after watching it on our local news stations, I still could not believe it. Rip Selena, you’re forever in our hearts💜

Selena was already huge in Latin America and was ready to conquer the English market. Honestly up til now I don't know any artist that besides beautiful, talented, charismatic, and many more attributes, cares so much about her /his fans. That humility that characterized her and just with a smile she would make you like her not matter your sex, origin, generation you belong to etc you would fall in love with her. She was a lot into fashion and designed her own clothes. You should watch her movie. Selena will always be loved.

Actually Selena dint know how to speak Spanish... But she memorized the words and people loved it and went crazy when she sang in spanish.. So she had to brush up on her Spanish when she started to having to do interviews... Crossing over into English ( her original language ) was just a matter of time..

Tatyanaa he was her husband,her father kicked him out of los dinos when he found out they in love,but they eloped,then her father slowly pushed him out of the family after she passed. He has a book out on Amazon,on back order waiting for mine. Jan 2021 , with love for Selena. I think that’s it’s what the name of book called. his name is Chris. If I am not mistaken this video came out after her passing.
