I think it is hard right now to identify lifestyle creep between inflation, the fact we stayed locked down for so long during COVID, and the desire to live comfortably! You definitely deserve to travel, take time off, live comfortably, and you're intentional with so much of your life! I think you're doing great :)

Thank you, Larresa! Honestly, you’re so right. I couldn’t have said it better myself. It really is hard to tell , and honestly, we all deserve to enjoy life, even if we have a tight budget and bills to pay. I’m not one who thinks you need to pay all your debt like student loans or a mortgage, before you deserve to do anything fun, obviously as long as you’re being intentional and trying to be fiscally responsible.

this is very productive and informative. As we probably know, most ppl don't think quite a lot about how their new-year-plans goes or not during the whole period of the year. All we would do in the first day of the New Year would be just "setting the goals and finding out later through the only two answers "yes", or "No". Mid'year checking is definitely a great idea. (I'm sorry if i am the only one who didn;t know this idea.

I think people of color have a lot of similar experiences with opression, language, cultural differences, feeling like “other”, etc. And I like to learn from other peoples of color’s perspectives!
