My jaw dropped when you talked about flower arranging. I am a nurse and have mentioned before we have some things in common. Now that I am post proctocolectomy the fact that I arrange flowers every holiday and LOVE to do it so much I literally just said recently “ in another life I’d be a florist” made me giggle out loud! Beautiful arrangement and awesome garden! Dinner looked amazing, too!

Your starter is brand new so don’t get discouraged because the longer you have it the better it gets. I’ve bee consistently making sour dough bread weekly from my starter that is 1 1/2 years old and it just keeps getting better. Keep at it and it will reward you. We have dark pink yarrow.

Maggie. I'm jealous. My guts wont let me have tomatoes. The seeds create problems for me. I was aware of that before i was diagnosed. I can have things made from tomatoes but not the tomatoe itself. Its a matter of avoiding abdominal pain. Its amazing crohnies can be so different.

I have flowers in my garden this year that I grew from seed for the first time. Your videos inspired me to try it out and it's so fun and rewarding. I have some impatiens, flax, chamomile, and some big purple pavlova asters that are going to bloom soon!

Maggie,I used to use glass floral holders from my grandmother You might find one at a yard scale or an antique shop You can even use it in a shallow bowl You flowers are glorious

Ummm, where did you get your bowls? I love that the lid matches the slip proof base. My grandmother always grew her own flowers and did her own arrangements. She had foam, frogs, wire. Each area of their yard had different flowers and veggies growing. Her roses were in front of the driveway, pansies grew wild everywhere, and she had these really tall, red pompom flowers that grew under the kitchen window.

After 42 yrs of marriage and no air conditioning, I am installing a mini split to cool the kitchen and dining area. I don’t do heat at all. Menopause also seems to make it worse😍😎🤩

I slowly tried foods over time. Everyone is going to be a bit different! I can eat almost everything, with starchy foods, breads, and pastas working the best!
