The second one was 7 months beyond the expiry date. Look at the date on the back of beef bag. It's located at the top and reads 2022/11/15. @03:48. The third one will be out of date in just over two months. @06:34.

I have a very sensitive stomach and a few allergies that make it hard to have food that isn’t home cooked. I feel like I get to experience ‘eating’ all the food they share! I hope to someday find fun food like this that doesn’t upset my stomach 😢

I do enjoy your videos DB but on the last meal you poked your thermometer in the heating packet and showed a temp of over 80 degrees C. It is worth remembering that the food was above this, and heated by the steam given off, which had to be over 100 degrees C, therefore probably hotter than the temp shown, so people need to take care handling the packets. All the very best to you and your partner.

i bought a little portable car heating bag, looks like a soft lunch box and it insulates and heats up the food quite well! reminds me of these self heating packs, although the heating packs are really fast! best step down from a microwave perhaps :)

Hi Dancin, question you ever try a Self-Heating meal and the warming packet didn’t work? We know sometimes one could be old or chemicals reaction with the water not working lol. That’s why I always take 2 straws. If one has a hole I should be good. Lol. A hole in a straw is the worst thing. Lol.

Thats because people in that area are accustomed to spices. They had no food preservation techniques and so therefore heavily spice their food to cover up the taste of rot.
