Self Love Rules

I am Heidi Smith, and I have a dream. I want us all to live in a world where self love rules.
Where our children are brought up to care for themselves and nourish themselves in a way to prepare themselves to give to others. Where they know that taking care of themselves IS taking care of others. I want to live in a world where we see ourselves in each other.
I see myself in you and you see yourself in me. And we are connected and we are bonded and we cannot hurt each other because it would be hurting ourselves.
I want to live in a world where everyone knows that they are the most precious gift to this world. There will never be another unique and powerful expression like you.
And so to be yourself, to dive inward and become the most loving and expressive being that you can be feeds the whole universe. That is your gift to the world.
And how do we get there? The way that we get to a place where we are not hurting one another is we know the path to freedom is to face our own fears. And we teach our children that when they are afraid, they go inside and we teach them how to face the fear, to learn the wisdom that fear has for them because they become stronger when they make friends with their fear. And then the fear will serve them.
It becomes part of our culture to go in and face all of our challenges individually. So there is no war. There is no rape. There is no oppression. There is no judgment, no criticism. There is love because we have learned to love ourselves.
I invite you to join me and learn how to face your fear, how to face your demons and make them your friends so that you can give the world everything that you are because we need you.
We need you to make this the loving planet that it was meant to be.
