You're tellng me my 2017 Ford Focus could identify parking spots regardless of if there's cars either side of that spot, but the big boy 2020 Benz can't?

I have tried this many times in my E220d. It parks fine automatically, but when I press the P button to unpark, then it just begins searching for a parking spot again, even when holding still.

It will unpark automatically only if you have parked car using park assist

hi very interesting video but I wonder why when you drive thru a parking with two or more free parking spaces in perpendicular direction the car recognizes this spot parking as a parallel parking and you car can parking in a wrong direction, do you if there some trick to do that not happening? appreciate you answer if you know something about this.

It’s because the car only recognized spaces between 2 cars if it doesn’t it assumes it’s a Parallel parking spot

Unfortunately, it does not work properly. It is very rare for it to give a warning in the light of a situation, and when it is found, it chooses a stop where there is a car that almost hits it. What is the solution?

If that’s the “quickest”way for this system to work (by a demonstrative pro), I suspect for 90% of the rest of people who DO need assistance , it’ll be for some passengers “ turn it off and let me do it for you, we’ve been here long enough!”

😭 LOL, What in the habadashahemaglobe is going on heeaaaa? The time it takes for the car to fully park is like a solid 2 min!😀😂 i can park it, get to my destination and that crap is still trying to park.
