Thank you so much! My sense of humor tends to get me in trouble a lot at work. I think it worries people a bit. lol. The other day my supervisor called me over and said she needed me to do something for her, and I said "If it's drink Clorox it better be diet because I'm trying to watch my calories." She didn't find it nearly as funny as I did.
@oliphant28485 жыл бұрын
This is so much better than the album version, which is drenched in symphonic layers and arrangements. If you enjoy Wintersun, you might also enjoy (kind of) early Ensiferum, where the vocalist originally came from. They're more like a folk/power metal blend with harsh vocals, and generally they are not so heavy. Kind of halfway between Nightwish and Wintersun. :) Again enjoyed your reaction and editing very much, although after watching your educational "How to fake a reaction" video, I'm sometimes not sure just going by your face and tone of voice if you're being honest or not, so I think I'll just trust you and rely on your word. But you'd be a great poker player, I think. By the way, the drummer here, Kai Hahto, is the current touring drummer of Nightwish too. Blackened power metal is perhaps not too bad a description. Another band that does this, though in a different style, and with much more keyboard and overt power metal actual music, is (early) Children of Bodom. The Patreon link in the description of this video leads to a 404 page on Patreon, because the URL it gives is www.patreon.com/themoralmisan. I had to supplement "thrope" manually. Sorry, not to bother you, just a pointer.
@TheMoralMisanthrope5 жыл бұрын
Thank you for letting me know that! I WISH I could have kept faking reactions, because I always end up catching things AFTER filming my reaction that I get mad at myself for missing. That and if I f*ck up and say something stupid during a part that's not paused, there's no editing that out or do-overs. It's scary sometimes, but still more fun, none-the-less. I've listened to a fair amount of COB, and I like some of their stuff, other stuff not so much. Not an avid listener myself, but I've had friends in the past who were really into them, so I had a good bit of exposure. lol.

Loved the reaction as usual and i've liked this song for awhile now. That being said some of their other stuff for me personally is hit and miss. Some bands just do that for me but i always appreciate the art they put out that does affect me. That being said man, i always try and put stuff i think may be up your alley to react to but you can never tell how a certain band's sound will affect anyone. If i ever put something out there and you aren't feeling it, no worries. Music is an art that touches us all different and if you think it's good but not "good" for you or even if you think it's trash im not going to take it personally. It's just something i enjoy and thought i'd share to see if you would too. Just keeping being real and honestly fuck the haters. You can't please everyone and honestly you shouldn't because honesty is always going to have critics.

Don't worry about saying you don't like something. Just maybe better not saying it's trash - because the folks who suggested it might like it. Not very communicative to dump other folks favourite songs - like you might feel if they'd call trash what you love. But just saying honestly it rubs you the wrong way etc. - discribing how it makes you feel, should be fair and honest. Then people shouldn't have any legit reason to come at you
@timomastosalo3 жыл бұрын
And that should still leave to say you can appreciate that some folk like it - but it's not for you ... and to harder criticism like that you tried, but it just eats you or does something unpleasant to you. That latter kinda means it's shit for you, yet you don't have to call it trash, cause dumping to trash someone's treasured song is always going under the skin. Like instead of attacking the song or the person you can let them know the song attacks you :)
