Generally speaking you do not need a footer. Instead we use a floating, haunched monolithic slab.

It varies by market but $6-8 per foot is a good ballpark cost for concrete.

Thanks for the question. It's a good one. This clip was form a Live Training call that we did. And I was addressing their specific question. Generally speaking we can build a basic non climate controlled, single story facility form the ground up for $30-35 per foot. On the higher end right now because of steel prices. And as you point out this will vary from market to market.
