This only works every time with a stack of 15 cards (assuming we allow the whole stack to be done during the __ of __ stage). With 16 cards, it's 48 out of 52 times. 17 cards, 35 out of 52. 18 cards, 21 out of 52. And 19 cards, a whopping 9 out of 52 times.

The VERY 1st time I tried it, it worked(18 cards). Using the same 18, it didn't work again! Card is always like 2 from bottom.

15 cards and it always works. You have to spell it in English though, kinda annoying if you're german like me.

The math is wrong. This is a joke right? In order for this trick to "self work". The ace, two, or six of clubs (10 letters) needs to be the 21st card down.

Thanks for showing this trick. I will try it to see if it works. I dont personally like card tricks that have spelling in it, coz it takes to long. Its boring, in my opinions. I like slight of hand card tricks. You are a great magician. I wanted to thank you for explaining how to get the stripper deck back in order, by using the pips. Lol. Thanks again. Blessings, Glen

It won’t work with the ace, 2, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, Jack or king of Clubs ♣️. The number of the card has to add up over 11 letters.

@@ncgaming1085 1st thought. Nice guy but that I'll pick this stack at the beginning wasn't so smooth. Next thought. It worked when I tried it however cards like Ace of Hearts obviously has 1 less letter than 4,5, 9, Jack & King of heart so won't they result in different endings if All Magic & Trick spellings are equal. Then I remembered from other tutorials that you account fir that by eliminating variables thus why he oddly got rid of two piles of cards unceremoniously. Still a great trick and can double as a Suckers bet as most students / volunteers won't be so lucky to get a clean result by chance & not knowing the 17 card stack particulars. I made my stack 17 for Lucky 7. You end up 3 cards short since only 14 cards add up to 12 when spelled. I got around this by handing 3 10 cards. If a Volunteer indicates their bottom card was 10 highly unlikely at 3/17, just have them reshuffle & get another card as chosen 1 to bottom without making a big deal about it. The 14 twelve letter cards work every time.

Not so fast. 4,5,9, Jack and King will work as part of your stack so long as the spelling with the word of adds up to 12. There are 14 card combinations that add up to 12 but you need a 17 card stack to follow his format so just add the dummy cards 10 of Diamonds, 10 of Soades and 10 of Hearts. If Volunteer indicates that they chose a 10, you as The Magician know to say you forgot to shuffle & have them pick aby other card in the packet without making a big deal. The 14 cards that add up to 12 work without flaw.

I fail to see how this could work, as the “roughly 1/3 of the deck” might have 15, 16, 17, 18, or 19 cards - if not more or less! Discounting the count which would be the same for any chosen card, there is still a range of possibilities.

Hmmmmm. Seems to have a problem with Clubs. Card ends up at the bottom rather than the top of the stack.

I know how it works so basically you need a deck of cards with a number of cards that are divisible by 3 you divide that deck of cards by 3 for example 15 divided 3 I get 5 now you need 2 words with that many letters in it and use them for the first and last words now for the second word take the original number of cards that you used minus it by the other number you had for example, mine was 5 then minus it by one make sure the word is that many letters or more but less than the original number now make sure that you’re doing this with the pile you’re using not the whole deck and that’s it btw he used 15

Only if you have a certain number of cards, so cutting the cards randomly most likely won't work.

@@GroguTheMandalorian-v1u I'm not saying it never works, I'm saying that it's unlikely and can often go wrong. For example I tried it just now, and I had a total of 19 cards and the 3 of diamonds was on the bottom. And it didn't work.

Magic and Trick have the same number of letters. Spell card in the middle, then by spelling Trick we go back, but on top instead of bottom. You can start with even or uneven # of cards.

If you have 17 cards in the pile then this spelling "two of spades" wont work. Has to be 15 cards.

Мой трюк на века колоду мешает зритель как хочет кидает кости запоминает мысленно карту после я её вытаскиваю не глядя ( не видя карт тусует зритель колоду и всё больше вы не видите карт читай мысли) как вам такой трюк))))) нет крапа левых карт любая колода ))) колоду перемешали вы не можете смотреть даже на (рубашку карт угадывай)!!!
