Of all the bands that I have seen/heard perform, and those that I missed, one of my greatest regrets is that I never got to see Lone Justice live. To this day, from then, one of my favorite albums (re cords 🙂) is still "Shelter". - Song writing, production of recording, arrangements, performances, vocal power and truth - everything that great songs, song writing and performance are all right there. From all the videos and TV performances that I have seen, it's quite obvious that I missed out on something special.

At the time I had no clue how lucky I was to see Lone Justice live at IU in 86 for $5 at a music room that held 500 people. John Mellencamp came out and sang with the band at the end of their set. Never thought they would be gone a year later. Still one of my best concert experiences I’ve ever had.

Very nice. The 80s sort of ended up burying a lot of talent because of how the artist would need to be marketed. Too bad this gal never got back in the saddle with another band in the 1990s. Would have appeared to have been a perfect fit for that era. Petty got them a lot of exposure back in '86 on the Southern Accents tour as well.
