Here's the reality of KZbin's new world order: 1: If I don't have splashy thumbnails and titles, like everybody else, I will lose out in the sea of the Mr.Beast-Hype-ification of KZbin. "Offroading my Safari Porsche 911" or "Selling 6 of my car to pay bills" just doesn't cut it when everybody else is doing these crazy titles and thumbnails. Unlike a lot of ridiculous titles ,though, mine are accurate in regards to what is actually happening in the video. 2: This will probably be my last off-road video, because if I don't push the car hard enough, it's boring content that nobody watches. If I find the limit of the car and break a few things, viewers are furious that I'm destroying something that wasn't very nice in the first place. It's a no win scenario. Perhaps I just need to "break" the cars off camera like so many other KZbinrs, that way I still have the content of fixing them without the hate. 3: I felt REALLY really bad for Brian (the 911 buyer). He was so excited to get the car, and I messed it up way more than I thought. It was not my intention at all. I really do need the money, as this house stuff is exhaustingly expensive, and I am dreaming of the day it's over. Then I'm in my new (hopefully permanent) garage, and I can go back to wasting all of my money on cars again. Other than the Lyriq and the Cybertruck, which I got a loan for 95% of the value, I haven't been able to make any kind of big purchases this year because the house is taking every dime I have. Obviously, nobody should feel sorry for me, as I have a beautiful house and a lot of amazing cars, 4: Thank you SO much for watching and liking my videos. Certainly open to constructive criticism or ideas for content in the future!

As soon as I saw you trying to do everything on the house at once I knew you were going to be in trouble. To be honest your contractor should have discouraged you from having all the projects at once. Think of it as a marathon not a sprint. This is just some advice if you ever get a wild hair up your backside for more projects on the house.

@@ysesq You're way too optimistic on the video pay scale. It varies based on content. And on the number of likes. Even if this content makes an average of $10 per 1000 views for this video--which is considered one of the higher rates--it's still some ways to go in order to fix all of the damage to that poor Stripper Glitter critter _AND_ make up for all of the other losses documented in this vid. At that average, if this vid somehow gets to 1 million views, it still only pays out about $10k to the provider. Worse news: if he indeed toasted the engine, a used good condition 996 Turbo motor typically easily goes for more than double that. Then add in The Wizard's labor, assuming that he'll even take the job (it's another used engine, after all). And all of this is assuming that a bunch of Porsche fanboys (and car guys in general) don't come around and collective hit on the Hate button; who knows what would happen to the payout average if that were to occur. Technically it's not really done until both money AND car/papers have changed hands. If you only have some verbal deal to sell it, it more or less amounts to almost nothing. For example, say something broke on the car while still in your possession that wasn't directly your fault, you most certainly wouldn't say "Oh well sorry, you own it now! We agreed over the phone."

Yes, Tiptronic trans. My first (and only) Porsche was a 1971 911 T Targa with a SPORTOMATIC trans. Similar to VW ASS trans. Wish I knew better at the time, but it was my first Porsche, and it was around the year 1977. I paid $6k - yes, $6k. But soon the trans went and it sat at the dealer waiting for parts for about a month. Other parts I had to replace were all overpriced, and I swore I would never buy another Porsche. And I haven't. I'm now 77, and have owned over 25 Corvettes over the years. They don't handle as well as that 911, but I can get them serviced at the local dealership or mechanic shop.
