There were a multitude of reasons that lead me to this point. I am beyond happy and grateful for how this experience went. I will still be involved in the electric bike industry doing e-bike sales, repairs, and scouting a new e-bike rental location. Heck Yeah Man! I have been creating ebike review KZbin content for about 4yrs now, then just selling the bikes on FB Marketplace when I'm done filming out of my garage this whole time. About 5mths ago I filled for LLC started looking at retail space and found a good one I'm moving into March (Spring), it's a nice 2,000sq ft space next to a 40mile bike trail. So I will be doing Sales, Service and Rentals. Would love to hear your ideas on business start-up do's & dont's etc.....

wow this is a perfect idea. I have a shuttle bus, so I could store the ebikes inside. The business can be portable and process transaction on site.

How much was your liability insurance? I'm starting a bike rental business too and the quotes are higher than rent!

Liability insurance will depend state to state. You’ll need to shop around quite a bit. I do e-bike business consulting if you need any help starting your business up!

How many bikes did you start with? How much money would you say it'll take to get started?

I started with 14 e-bikes. For start up costs it really varies on how many bikes your start with but I would say 30,000 is a good starter budget.
