Oh man...spent my childhood riding one of these as passenger squeezing behind the seat and watching the Holland baler baling away. The 690 2WD I rode as passenger had a front loader fitted to it. Awesome video.

Sad times the fact you sold the 600 series but the problem is rust its such a big problem particularly this model and it does end up a dear naccesity having to keep carrying out work! Further our conversation a while back regarding our 600 series, shes still going but good god the rots getting there.

We have a 1988 690 2wd we have it for years now and we got very bad snow in winter and the water pump was leaking on it and we thought all the water leaked out of it and never checked it in the snow and the blocked cracked, the saddest day of my life tbh, we still have it but it's going for export soon and I don't want it too leave cause it's been a part of my life for years but it's my dads not mine so I can't stop it from going 😨

Hi Richard, what did you mean when you said you'd think it'd be better going for export? Do they get re-furbed before export? Thanks
@thefunkyfarmer10 жыл бұрын
some of the export stuff goes to Africa where they chop the cabs off. In this case that would be a good idea as the cab is pretty knackered

You can see the entire front half of the cab has rotted out and been replaced by bits of angle and flat steel to hold the windows in. It needs a whole new cab really.

@datbomb987 жыл бұрын
Joe Tiller small country with big government we are lucky over here compared to their rules you have to get licences to drive tractors and even tag your tractors for road use they have to travel with the loaders all the way in the air just a ton of ridiculous rules

@thefunkyfarmer10 жыл бұрын
The doors were red as I gave the tractor a lick of paint about 10 years ago and I didn't have any silver. I think it is French, the rust killed it really
