This may be 3 years old, but it saved my sanity :) I already returned the first System for exchange because I wouldn't get it to pair - because the manual says to hold the center button for 12 secs and it then says "intercom pairing" - which I mistook for pairing with a bluetooth unit. You're video showed me, that you need to hold the button just that bit longer to wait for "configuration menu" et voilá - phone paired :) Thank you so much!

I had the Sena 10u and had to replace it 3 times. The right speaker kept going out. I bought it because of how it integrated with my shoei. I replaced it the 3rd time.

Good sound quality. Fully compatible with phones, BUT not with motorcycles bluetooth. I can't control volume, from handlebar controls. I can basically change music track but not next or previous exactly since it skips 4-5 at a time.

Does Sena make a model that works with a Bluetooth headset, in place of wired helmet speakers? I use a Bluetooth bone conducting headset, as the sound quality at highway speeds is incomparable to even the Harmon Kardin speakers.

the fact that these only work with the Carbon variants of the RPHA line is a huge missed opportunity. I have nothing against carbon, I'm just not a fan of solid black helmets. I was going to order the RPHA 11 Bine along with the 20B, and thankfully I watched your video otherwise I would have ordered something incompatible.

This system can only be installed in the full carbon version of the RPHA 70 ST that is due here in the US later this spring. It will not fit into any of the other RPHA 70 ST Helmets. - Van

How do you know it's charging ? Is there a light that comes on ? Maybe a red light...turns green when it's done ? Or a light that turns off when it's done ? How do you know ? Does the unit need to be on to charge ? I have so many questions lol..

I’m sure you have an answer by now, but I just tried this with my two helmets and it works well. Just hold the centre button on the 20 until it says “pairing” and press the wheel on the 50 for 5 seconds until it says “pairing” and wait for a few seconds. Bingo! It’s paired. Easy. This is Bluetooth intercom not the Mesh system, but for a few friends or pillions it works well. Good luck.

@@simongough-brown9439 the mesh system only work with the same units? You would have thought that with this been Sena and Bluetooth 4.1 they would all link together. If not this is bad if you have one of these because you have a carbon but you cannot link into the mesh because your friend don’t have a carbon so use a different Sena unit.

Siri doesn't seem to work with it on mine. All I can do is listen to music and make or answer phone calls manually while stopped, gloves off, manipulating the phone normally. It will come to life if you say "Hey Sena", but you are limited to only a few commands like "Speed dial 1" or something like that. Very limited and I can never remember the commands it allows.
