I remember asking my father some years ago then how my ancestors came to be where I am now and he replied, they sailed on boats from a distant place all the way to here. This song actually tells this story of my ancestors. To think then I was taught about the Austronesians in my first year of High school, not knowing that I was learning about myself, my history. Didn't pay much attention to it then, unlike now. I am starting to appreciate that side and I'm learning more about it. Glad I found this. Much love from a fellow Austronesian 💖🇵🇬
