You could argue that they are not allowed to set up camps and I agree that the campus can take action off that, but to purposely mischaracterize these protests as violent is immoral and fake news and people are eating it up. Yes there have been incidents of things getting out of hand but the overwhelming majority are peaceful. Also calling Jewish students anti-Semitic for protesting innocent women and children and ,yes, men, being killed in Palestine with their tax dollars is not twisting the news…it’s lying to a gullible and/or unethical audience that wants to accept their own reality to support their world view while still feeling like good people. This bill passing is an example of what happens when your moral fiber sways in the winds of personal view points. You are easily manipulated by pandering, grifting, being told what you like to hear while someone gives you the okie doke and next thing you know your contradicting yourself.

‼️HELLO‼️ Hate speech is protected by the 1st Amendment🤏 In the last century, The Supreme Court tossed multiple cases against white supremacists who protested in public, burned crosses & called for the lynching of colored people🤏 Also, just recently in 2017, The Supreme Court, Matal v.Tam, unanimously reaffirmed that there is effectively no "hate speech" exception to the free speech rights protected by the 1st Amendment. Pardon me, sir, but colleges are supposed to be centers of learning. They are not morality leaders. I attended a Baptist college and received a fantastic LIBERAL ARTS DEGREE. Although it was a Baptist college, in my religion class (which was required of all sophomores) we learned about all religions and it was eye opening. But unless you were a religion major (a preacher boy), our religion was not mashed down our throats. My friends who went to state colleges weren't taught as thoroughly or liberally as we were. So Republicans, quit trying to force Christian Nationalism on everyone. Not all Americans are Christian and, historically, that's why we ARE American. You know, moving here due to religious persecution? I say, Republicans need to quit being Protestant Imams.
