There isn't really a good class for EMIYA, but Archer isn't a terrible fit. His main skills are with his Unlimited Blade Works and tracing ability, yeah, but he can't really be a Caster with such basic magecraft. He's an Archer in the way that Gilgamesh is an Archer: Firing physical projectiles at a distance. And to EMIYA's credit, he does actually use a bow sometimes.

Apparently he was the one who trained Sasaki based on the interview with Nasu. Though he didn't teach him sword techniques or styles but he taught him the fundamental nature of a swordsman and it's one of the reasons why Sasaki can cut dimensions since Muramasa could quite literally forge a blade that could cut dimensions but would call it a failure his sword was also forged by him most likely, probably why there is a strong connection between Ryoudou temple and Sasaki is because thats where Muramasa used to hole up in as stated in the interview "Sasaki trained with a Hermit on a Hill" Plus there might be some proof that Shirou is related to him since the temple is located in Fuyuki...but those are just theories either way the only concrete proof given by Nasu is that Muramasa taught Sasaki, the rest is still up for grabs.

Afterall, it was the sword that split the original world and made them heaven and earth we have now. it was unique to Gil tho so it was not the option here, and to be fair, Gil also has divinity in him.

Not really. You can make sense of it but you have to actually try. Cu's Gae Bolg, for example, is a phantasm that manipulates causality. Muramasa could probably slice through that.

I’m guessing it says “fuck fate and destiny”. A shield might be destined to block an attack. But tsumakari muramasa will be able to cut through it. Somebody might be destined to survive an attack. But his blade nullifies that.
