Can people with Autism qualify to become a foreign service officer? I'm interested, but I fear that my disability may disqualify me. Also, thanks for this video.

Hello! Thank you so much for watching the video and thanks for your question. For all medical related questions, I would visit and consult: www.state.gov/start-here-steps-to-a-medical-clearance/ or contact at diplomat-in-residence: careers.state.gov/connect-with-a-diplomat/ . The medical team looks at your complete medical history and makes a determination. The only way to know, is if you try. Wishing you all the best.

Hi Ms. Traveler, I’ve been looking at a lot of your videos and doing research. I’m a bit concern because I want to be apart of the foreign service/diplomat career route but do I need to know specifically what I want to do while being a foreign service officer/diplomat
