That last sentence was worth the whole video. 'Even at the same price it would be a close call .. ' says it all. ..I got them and they are truly great. Comparing to sabbat e12, I can see why lots of people would complain about lack of bass and prefer that heavier beefy sound that Sabbat, and probably Sennheiser have. When you want to play something really loud, or over power loud loud environment like on underground. When you want that assault on your ears. (I want that when I play some rock or metal). That loud meaty aggressive sound is what you'd appreciate. When I want tevis to do that for me, I have to crank up there bass in eq and go to max loudness. BUT, tevis have clearer sound and base notes go deeper! It's such a quality that makes me pay attention to music even if I want to have it played as the background.. great experience!

HiFi Headphones had the Momentum coming from the Beoplay E8 and their terrible connection, the sound of the momentum is like you said, the app never really understand that eq curves never really use it, but the worse of it was the battery drain, if you forget to charge the case you’ll have to go without your music. End up using the Redmi Airdots, sound ok and never fail. I bought the Tevi because of your recommendation, arriving exactly today, can’t wait to listen to it. Saludos desde México.

Where my Lypertek Tevi excel is in their near-neutral sound - the ability to hear songs and soundtracks as their creators intended. So the best format for them is MQA. My question is if my iPhone operating on iOS 13.3 is able to send the tidal MQA signal to the lypertek tevi, or not?

I have 2 wireless over ear headphones from Sennheiser RS 180 and RS 195, both are superb but they are NOT bluetooth. If Bluetooth had now reached that same level I'd jump at in ear earphones, but Bluetooth is really lacking. The many reviews I've read of the bluetooth new Sennheiser are horrible ear fitting problems, falling out, the buttons on ear earphone drive their owners half crazy.IF Sennheiser or anyone else had now a great Bluetooth sound, I'd gladly pay twice the high price they sell for now.On my phone, as much as I hate wires, I have a jack hole and wired IEMs
@hifiheadphones
@hifiheadphones 5 жыл бұрын
For certain uses wired is still superior, especially if you value real high end sound quality (providing you have a good source and headphones). But with the new codecs bluetooth is catching up, and for general use true wireless can be very convinient. If you are using these 2 models with Aptx you get surprisingly good fidelity, it's worth a try if you can demo some.

Taitanz i dont see how the senheiser wins with having a massive dip in the low treble and having a harsh peak in the 9khz which sounds undetailed and harsh at the same time while the tevi’s don’t have this problem. Yeah... the Senheiser totally wins....

Had a very bad experience with Lypertek Pureplay Z3 and got no support for that. The glued parts are not properly finished. The joint in one of the buds is widening, I really doubt it is a IPX7 rated product. The the sound is good but not as good as hyped. It is brighter to the extend of being little harsh and fatiguing. Lacks refinement. You can hear little glitches while connecting, disconnecting, pausing and playing. The mic is horrible. The buds are bulky and uncomfortable for long listening. The company has serious quality control issues and no customer support. They are surely not worth the price, I regret buying this. Sould have gone for time tested brands.

Your logic is faulty. A more consumer sound outweighs audiophile sound. Why? Because consumers outnumber audiophiles tremendously. Chances are, consumers are watching this video. Also sound quality weighs much more than battery life. They are not equals. So if price were the same then the momentum would stomp the tevi. So by The tevi being cheaper it’s a much harder decision. It all depends on one’s budget. If $250 wont affect you that much then get the momentum’s, they are much better sounding. Otherwise get the tevis

Артём Назаров, it is all about priorities. IPX5 is just fine for me. I will not swim with them. Also 6 hours of listening is more then enough. But with Sabbat I have more Bass and it does not protrude from ear wich means I can sleep listening chill music.
