Great job, Dr. Mike. I was not expecting that you'd call out some of the false statements/exaggerations toward the end. I'm sure it's incredibly relaxing, and everyone could use some relaxation sometimes, but then it's mega-stressful when you get the bill! The freezing/cryo machines are even worse. They make claims to "cure" inflammatory conditions. If only... I agree with the person who posted on eating disorders. It would be nice to see all the behind-the-scenes work what make you look the way you do. Our vulnerable young people are chasing an impossible ideal. I tried once. The one I went into was an egg shaped capsule. Fully dark and quiet, you go in completely naked. Its amazing. It was really hard to relax at first, but after about half an hour I managed to relax completely and disconnect from physical feelings. Completely awake, but not burdened by any physical sensations. The most relaxing feeling Ive ever had in my life. I managed to reach thoughts and abstractions I never could before. Highly advisable. If you feel comfortable with yourself you will relax. If you dont you will realize that being alone with your cognition is not so bad after all. Maybe if you have panic attacks or some mental issues it may be scary, but otherwise its really beneficial experience.

Idk y but pennywise came to mind when I saw the word float "you'll float too"
@cassuttustshirt49496 жыл бұрын
We all float down here! It's a line from the book, IT. When Georgie Denbrough loses his paper boat down a storm drain and goes to retrieve it, he sees a clown with sinister glowing eyes in the sewer. The clown, (who introduces himself as Pennywise the Dancing Clown) offers him a balloon. Georgie asks him if it floats (Basically, if it's a helium filled balloon). Pennywise says it floats and that "We all float down here!" He refuses the balloon but reaches in for his boat. Pennywise rips his arm off and he does from shock/blood loss. Sorry for all that. I'm a huge Stephen King nerd, and IT is one of my faves. The Stand is wonderful, as well. Pet Sematary is delightful, I love how the main character slowly goes mad throughout the book. 'Salem's Lot is a joy, especially if you like vampires. I'd be better off listing the Stephen King books I don't like than the ones I do. Much shorter list.
@stacie77666 жыл бұрын
@@cassuttustshirt4949 Another great one is 'Sleepwalkers'. Oh, and 'Desperation', and 'Storm of the Century'. As well as pretty much everything he touches. I'm the same way as you... My list of books, and short stories of the ones I didn't care for as much, is much shorter then the ones I like.

@@stacie7766 Don't forget 'Misery', 'Under the Dome', or anything in 'Different Seasons' ('Apt Pupil' and 'The Body' being favorites), hahaha. Both mentally and physically.

Thanks for this video, I've heard so many things about the benefits of things like this, and a place like this opened up in the town next to where I work so I started hearing about it even more after that. Funny thing is, due to my fears of certain swimming pools/tubs this would do the exact opposite of helping me, especially being left alone in the dark in there, I almost had a hard time watching you through the video because of my fears, lol, so silly! Give me a bike ride alone in nature with nothing but animal sounds or some music on my iPod and that is my equivalent of this kind of therapy, I think it only makes sense that different people benefit differently so nothing works for everyone and you should do what works best for you! I also hate the supposed claims and miracle benefits of things and they usually make me run the opposite direction from buying things as a result. Haha, nothing can be that amazing! Another great video!

Laughter is an amazing healing mechanism. At the end when your were cracking up I couldn’t help but crack up myself because it was legit. It’s one of the few things in this world that are contagious in a good way, that you actually need and benefit greatly from!

6:22 Always remember this! Always remember that giving off-the-cuff answers that might be wrong breaks the first rule. If you don't know, don't ever guess, say that you do not know. First, do no harm. Love ya, Doc!
