I just switched to paralytic poison and now feel like it's a must, considering the spell-slowing effect of mind numbing is only 10% in pvp. It's also priceless to have EITHER a root or a stun that's not on CS/KS diminishing returns - let alone BOTH. Not to mention that the "root" effect is not your normal root because it CAN'T be broken by dmg. Thanks for the great explanations of the details.

Also about the Shadow Blades opener, would you recommend activating it before cheap shotting. This way CS + hemo = 5 CP and you can pool energy for a nice kidney backstab stun.

I played MoP beta and got the trinket that gave 40k intellect on my undead shadow priest. You talk about 1-sided world pvp. I had a _raid_ come after me at the farm. There were 10 or so and they had some healers. I sent them ALL to resurrect. Over and over. Plus other people. Fun times. lol

Hey man. Really nice video, a lot of useful rogue knowledge. Many thanks for it! I just have one question - what about openers utilizing both Shadow Blades and Shadow Dance? If I want to get max damage I do something like: Premed -> Slice and Dice -> Shadow Blades (in stealth) -> Garrote -> wait for the last moment of subterfuge, pool energy -> Cheap shot -> 5 cp Eviscerate -> MfD -> Eviscerate -> Cheap shot (DRed) -> Ambush -> Eviscerate. Or the other one (if no need for silence) would be: Premed -> SnD -> SB -> Cheap shot -> Hemo -> 5cp Evi -> MfD -> Evi -> DRed Cheap shot -> Ambush -> Eviscerate I guess you could also do kidney shot after MfD and then 2x ambush and Eviscerate. Do you recommend such openers ?

Very good guide! What would also make a good video is how to maintain constant damage as a sub rogue. For instance if someone stuffed up the opener, how would you keep the fight going?

I can relate very hard to these openers but what i would like to see is a win against a mage because a good mage will always block the opener making your next stun (probably kidney) blinkable. A thing that i do against rogue vs mage duels is that i smoke bomb the pet nova the mage will do at the same time as he blinks out of the kidney, this will allow you to avoid deep freeze but not blizzard (this is not recommended against mages with block glyph or a keybinded blizzard hehe). you could also vanish the nova and go for him again, that method is strongest when used with paralytic poison. overall i think paralytic is the best choice agains a mage because its more important to keep the mage cc'd than to have better stun damage on him. and also shiv alot

These are the first 5 openers as spammable macros. I don't suggest using them as you may want to learn to use each ability. Also, within is the optional MFD>KS which you may not need or want to do. Hey Sensus, I notice you use badge of conquest instead of insignia. Is the 2k agility loss actually better because you can choose when you want to burst or use hard openers rather than relying on a proc from your Insignia to pop dance or praying you get a proc when you pop dance? I have insignia myself but I'm guessing it might be more beneficial if i change. just wanted to read your thoughts. thanks

Noobish question: are any of these openers macro-able (in part or whole - global CD obviously affects this)? Or is it better to keybind (or mousebutton bind)...or a combination of the two?

Idk why people say Jc/Bs is better then enchanting because its not enchanting you get to enchant rings for 160 Agility each so 320 boost to Agility not only that you can make tons of money with it just Disenchanting stuff, and also getting items from the disenchanting to make enchants to sell to make even more gold

Just started playing again, awesome job on the tutorial, just wondering how your macros are setup? Looks like you have a CS one for non-casters (3), then a garrote one for casters(4)? No idea what the premed ("Sap") or ambush (2) ones are.
